McKenna My Rescue Angel

I rescued McKenna from a so-called hobby breeder. She had 3 litters of puppies and the breeder was done with her. Left alone with not much human contact, she would probably be dead by now if I had not found her when I did. The breeder had her in a dirt pen outside and was putting olive oil on her, which caused the dirt to cake up in her coat so bad I could hardly find her eyes. She was a total mess. When asked why she did this, the breeder replied that it protected her coat. Some people should not be allowed to get close to animals and she was one of those. First stop after picking up McKenna was the groomers for a bath and to cut the mats out of her coat. From that day on, she has barely been out of my sight. Though she still has some issues due to the treatment she endured for the first five years of her life, she has turned out to be a real sweetheart. I love her dearly as you can see in this video. The picture quality is bad because I was tweaking out the audio and video set up for Ustream. I had this song playing for testing purposes. As if she knew the song, McKenna came over to my desk and was begging for me to give her some attention. The result was very fitting for the moment so I decided to share it. Not much going on here.
