Fundraising Campaign for 'Throw Away Kitty'

A fundraising campaign is initiated for a 'throw away kitty'.

Millions of animals are given away by their owners every year.

Freida is one of these and she is described as a discarded kitty.

Forgotten Felines of Maine has set out to help and raise funds for her. An authority at the foundation shared the cat’s tale stating “Freida was found in a ditch on April 10th one mile from anywhere....a certain throw away kitty. She was emaciated and matted and weighed less than 2 lbs. She did not walk to that ditch by herself. Thank God for the man taking a walk that day. He saved her life.”

Forgotten Felines took in Freida and they are now asking for the pet-loving online community for help in raising $10,500 for her veterinary bills. The cat is anemic. X-rays show defects in her food processing system, and it has been determined that there she suffers from a storage disease.

Her growth plates also show abnormalities, which leave her with very weak bones. The organization hopes to keep Freida in their care. She cannot be fully cured, but with constant monitoring and medication, she will be able to live contently.
