Recipe to prepare "Chickoo Halwa":

Ingredients:
10-15 sapotaceaes/chickoo, peeled
1/2 tbsp clarified butter/ghee
100 gms milk
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp desiccated coconut/dried and powdered coconut
2-3 green cardamoms
2 drops vanilla essence
a few raisins, to garnish

Method:
Take the sapotaceaes/chickoo, and chop them into small pieces while removing the seeds.
Heat clarified butter/ghee in a pan.
Add in chopped sapotaceaes. Stir to cook for around 2-3 minutes by mashing properly.
Add milk, and stir continuously on high flame until it dries out and the ghee floats out.
Add sugar; mix well and let it melt.
Add coconut, and mix again.
Add green cardamoms, and mix well.
Turn the flame low, and add vanilla essence. Mix again.
Take out in a serving bowl, and garnish with raisins.
Chickoo Halwa is ready to serve.
