Drawing influence from a broad range of artists including Tori Amos, Jeff Buckley and more recently Joni Mitchell and Rick Price, Candice McLeod has developed a style that is uniquely her own.
Playing piano from the age of 3, Candice later branched out to guitar and soon found herself singing and writing her own songs. In 2007, she was a finalist in the Q-Song Awards for her songwriting abilities.
Her songs tell tales of life brimming with triumphant choruses that you'll be humming for days after. Candice's trademark exuberance has endeared her to audiences at a wide variety of venues, from cafes and restaurants to large outdoor festivals.
Candice's versatility and talent has seen her play many of the region's leading venues including The Great Northern Hotel (Byron Bay), The Pacific Hotel (Yamba), The Loft (Gold Coast) and The Sol Bar (Maroochydore). Having already shared her music with audiences across the East, South and West Coasts of Australia, Candice now aims to continue taking her music throughout Australia and around the world.
