SUE-ANNE Stewart is an Independent singer/songwriter based in Queensland, Australia. With the soulful soothing beauty of her voice, her insightful lyrics and emotive live performances, she has created herself a strong swagger of followers.
Over the years Sue-Anne has toured extensively throughout Australia, Canada and Europe, performing alongside many well-respected artists, and world-renowned festivals.
Drawing strength from a solid folk heritage, her powerful songs have a punchy roots feel, carried by her passionate vocal styling. Her voice is strong, clear and unwavering, in delivering her unpretentious, honest lyrics.
Learning guitar at an early age by her father, Sue-Anne had a very nomadic upbringing, and has since dedicated the past decade to her music, traveling, performing.
Sue-Anne has recently released her much-anticipated album 'Gypsy Blood', which was produced by renowned Producer Anthony Lycenko (Pete Murray, Busby Marou).
Recently Sue-Anne has supported Mat. McHugh ( The Beautiful Girls), Bobby Alu, and Ash Grunwald on his Australian Tour. Returning home from showcasing at the Canadian Music Week 2014 in May, this year is already gearing up to be a big year for Sue-Anne as her success continues to rise.
Sue-Anne's new album 'Gypsy Blood' is her fourth release to date, she has also independently released a self-titled EP in 2002, LP 'Vivid' in 2003, 'Embrace' EP 2008.
