The images of this "slum" sequence from the film "Drowning Princess" were taken with children from a slum in Bombay (Mumbay), India, in December 2007 and the second part of this sequence in Ahmedabab with Niha Ramanuj, Smiral Shah, Maïa Nicolas and Jean-Frédéric Chevallier.

DROWNING PRINCESS is the second film directed by Jean-Frédéric Chevallier and Maïa Nicolas and produced by Proyecto 3, Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, D.Com, Feu Faux Lait and Trimukhi Platform, 2009. DROWNING PRINCESS is a sensitive journey around women and their right to live, in India and elsewhere. Nor a fiction, nor a documentary, it is more like a film-essay.
