“কেন বসে আছেন এই গরমে? কাল থেকে বসে আছেন। কেন শরীরকে অসুস্থ করছেন? আমি তো বলেছি সবাই চাকরিতে ফেরত যান, আপনাদের স্যালারি বন্ধ হবে না। আর গ্রুপ সি-এর কর্মীরা আবার আমাদেরকে কোর্টে আবেদন করতে দিন। আমরা তো আইনজীবীদের সাথে কথা বলছি। আপনাদের চাকরি যাবে না। ভরসা রাখুন, যারা চাকরি খেয়েছে, তাঁদের ভরসা করবেন না। কিন্তু যারা চাকরি ফিরিয়ে দিচ্ছেন তাঁদেরকে তো ভরসা করুন। আমি ওখানে নেই, থাকলে এক মিনিটে মিটিয়ে দিতাম সমস্যা। আর কীসের জন্যে আপনারা যোগ্য-অযোগ্যদের তালিকা নিয়ে বিক্ষোভ করছেন? ওটা তো আপনাদের দেখার কথা না? ওটা আমাদের ওপর ছাড়ুন না। আপনাদের তো চাকরি থাকা নিয়ে দাবি, সেটাই রাখুন। আর সেটাই থাকবে। কারর স্যালারি বন্ধ হবে না। যারা উস্কানি দিচ্ছে তারা আপনাদের বেতন দেবে না, বেতন দেবে সরকার। উত্তরপ্রদেশে ৬৯ হাজার চাকরি গেছে। ত্রিপুরায় ১০ হাজার চাকরি গেছে। আমি চাই না রাজ্যে বেকারের সংখ্যা বাড়ুক। তাই কর্মসংস্থানের ব্যবস্থা করে চলেছি। আমাদের ওপর একটু ভরসা রাখুন”, এমনটাই বললেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়।


"Why are you sitting in this heat? You have been sitting since yesterday. Why are you making yourself sick? I have told everyone to go back to work, your salary will not be cut. And let the Group C employees apply to the court again. We are talking to lawyers. You will not get your job. Trust me, don't trust those who have lost their jobs. But trust those who are returning jobs. If I were not there, I would have solved the problem in a minute. And why are you protesting about the list of eligible and ineligible? Isn't that what you are supposed to see? Don't leave it to us. You are demanding jobs, keep that. And that is what will remain. No one's salary will be cut. Those who are instigating will not pay your salary; the government will pay. I don't want the number of unemployed to increase in the state. Trust us a little," said by CM Mamata Banerjee.
