00:01We have three gentlemen who are here to speak to us this morning, and they're going to participate in an event of which we have them wired up for sound for this.
00:10They are alumni of the Philadelphia Flyers, names that you know very, very well.
00:15Please welcome Danny Breer, Scott Hartnell, and Brad Marsh to the show.
00:23Get yourselves settled in, gentlemen. Yeah, there you go.
00:26So, Scott, you see the guy over there with the Phillies face paint and all that stuff?
00:32On day one, he had Flyers face paint. He's been doing a different team every day since he got here.
00:40And we have yet to see Eagles. That's probably tomorrow, I guess.
00:44The Union yesterday, the day before that, Sixers. No, you were Sixers on the first day, then the Flyers, and then the Union today, the Phillies.
00:51I would imagine tomorrow will be the Eagles.
00:52And then he was at the Flyers game on Tuesday night and kept showing up on the Jumbotron.
00:56Because he looks great. He's really perfect for the camera.
01:00When you guys, when you see somebody like that in the crowd when you were playing, would you guys talk about that on the bench at all?
01:06I mean, look at that dude in the face paint and all.
01:08I mean, you guys have to have conversations about stuff that's other than the game going on, right, Danny?
01:12Sometimes there's guys that would stick out a little bit more than others.
01:16That's a good example.
01:17Right.
01:18Right.
01:19And at home, you'd love it, right?
01:21But then you go to Pittsburgh and there's a guy dressed up like a penguin.
01:24I'm like, what an idiot that guy is.
01:26Look at this douchebag.
01:28And when you're dressed up in your Flyers colors, it's perfect.
01:30Yeah.
01:31It's never.
01:32I love it.
01:33I also love you guys and your relationship with the team.
01:36I think the Flyers have such a strong alumni representation.
01:40Yeah.
01:40With the ambassadors and the different roles that everybody's playing.
01:43And, Scotty, now you're doing sports on NBC Sports Philly.
01:47You've taken it to the desk there.
01:49Brad, what is your relationship with the team?
01:51Because everybody kind of holds this title with the team now.
01:54I'm president of the Flyers alumni, so I oversee all the old guys.
01:59Oh, really?
01:59All the old guys.
02:01And so it's nice to be out with these two guys on my left and right because they're a little younger.
02:05When it gets to be Joe Watson, it's tough to keep him in line, you know?
02:09There's got to be something, though, to being around ice because even the older Flyers still look freaking young.
02:16Like, it's like a cryogenic thing going on.
02:18You guys all look great.
02:20Well, thank you for that.
02:22Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:23I just want to avoid Joe from having to shake his hand because he nearly breaks your damn fingers when he grabs a hold of you.
02:29All right, Joe Watson.
02:30Arr!
02:31That's pretty much it.
02:32Yeah.
02:33He's got a vice grip.
02:34Between him and the hound, I mean, we've got the best alumni around, you know?
02:38Well, it's hilarious when we have alumni games and Joe Watson plays.
02:42He still thinks it's the Stanley Cup Finals from 74.
02:46Like, there's no losing in alumni hockey.
02:48He'll give you heck next Monday night if you're not back-checking.
02:52You'll hear from Joe Watson.
02:53I'm going to be cherry-picking.
02:54That's what I'm going to be cherry-picking.
02:55You'll hear about him.
02:56You'll hear about him.
02:58So a lot of alumni in the game, it's on the 15th, right?
03:01And Eric Lindros is coming down, I believe, and the three of you guys are going to be a part of it.
03:06And Scotty Upshaw is going to be there as well.
03:08Who else is going to be making an appearance for the alumni game?
03:11Well, Rick Dockett.
03:12Right.
03:12Big name.
03:13That's the whole incentive for it is Tock and Holmgren, right?
03:16I got my first Flyers game.
03:18It was a Flyers-Capitals playoff game.
03:22Rick Dockett and Neil Sheehy got into a fight, and I was at the glass.
03:26I was in eighth grade, and it's when the games were on prism.
03:29And so we found the video.
03:31You can see me banging against the glass as this, you know, chubby little 13-year-old kid.
03:36But, like, oh, at one point, you see Tockett just nail Neil right in the middle of the face with a fist.
03:44And you see Neil's face like, oh, oh.
03:48It was just, oh.
03:50Glorious, right?
03:51It was glorious.
03:52It was absolutely glorious.
03:53That's hockey for you.
03:54Speaking of tough guys, Donald Brashear is coming down.
03:57And it's really cool.
03:58It's his first time coming to a Flyer alumni event.
04:01He's very, very excited about it.
04:03So we got a lot of toughness.
04:04It's an alumni game.
04:05We got a lot of Dave Brown, Brashear, and Scotty.
04:12Danny Breer.
04:13Talking about toughness.
04:17No, Brashear, he was one of the scariest-looking guys I've ever seen to play that game.
04:21I mean, just as far as an intimidating, imposing individual, you know?
04:25Riley Cote, who's fought him many times.
04:28Yeah, Riley Cote.
04:29They're scary in warm-up.
04:31Right, yeah.
04:32He's an old-time.
04:33Like, Dave Brown used to just patrol.
04:36Everyone's seen a warm-up, and you usually skate from your red line into behind your net to get red.
04:42Brownie would just skate between the blue line and the red line, and the whole time he was just looking at the other team.
04:47And if you're on the other team, you dare not make eye contact.
04:51Because he had you then.
04:54Right.
04:55My last alumni game, I got to play between Fridge, Todd Federick, and Brownie, Dave Brown.
05:03So we were playing the Flyers, Warriors, and there were some guys there that wanted to test us a little bit.
05:09I felt like the toughest guy on the ice.
05:13That's nice, man.
05:14Brad, were you the last Flyer to play without a helmet?
05:18Is that part of one of your bits of trivia?
05:20No, actually, Craig McTavish was the last Flyer, and he was the last player in the NHL not to wear a helmet.
05:26And a side note to that, Craig McTavish and I grew up together in London, Ontario.
05:30We played on the same minor hockey team, Southwest London Bobcats, growing up.
05:35So it must have been something in the water that, you know, we didn't wear the helmet.
05:38Yeah.
05:40When you look back at that and think of how you guys played less protected back in the day, what pressures your mind?
05:48Well, I don't know.
05:48You've got to understand, when I broke into the league in the 70s, nobody wore a helmet.
05:52And the odd player that did wear a helmet, they were referred to as a chicken bleep.
05:58Yeah, yeah, yeah.
05:58And so when I made the NHL, I wanted to be like my idols that I watched on TV.
06:04You know, the Tim Hortons and the Bobby Bonds and Alan Stanley, names that I know none of you guys have ever heard.
06:09But I wanted to be like them, so I didn't wear a helmet when I played.
06:13When I look back now, I understand the helmet's got to be worn now, but it was a different game back in the 70s.
06:20It's staggering, you know, again, to see the speed at which, again, I'm always stunned at your ability to process everything that's going on when you're out of the game.
06:31Whether you're on the field for baseball or whatever, any sport, but it's particularly hockey, which moves so fast, to process everything as it's going on.
06:42And I think that is, unless you've been down at ice level as a spectator and have seen, you know,
06:48remember years ago they tried to add the glowing puck so that there's just no way, there's no way to capture the speed of it.
06:57No, they could have used that in like the 80s when the televisions and everything stopped.
07:00Couldn't process, yeah.
07:01But now that we have HD, you don't need that.
07:03I wanted to ask you guys, did any of you or all of you happen to see the Netflix documentary about the Danbury trashers?
07:10And are you guys aware?
07:11I saw parts of it.
07:12Okay.
07:12I haven't seen it yet.
07:13I want to watch it.
07:14Were you aware of it as it was actually happening in real time?
07:17So real quick, are the, oh, no, that's, I was thinking that was the one that was about the Slapshot team, but that's not it.
07:24This is about a minor league team or an independent team?
07:27No, it was like a minor league team that basically modeled themselves basically after Slapshot.
07:32After Slapshot, yeah.
07:33And the Broad Street Bullies and all of that.
07:35And then it had happened as there was the NHL lockout.
07:39And so they actually were able to get Mike Rupp, Mike Rupp, who had just won a Stanley Cup with the New Jersey Devils, was out of work.
07:47And so he ended up playing with his team.
07:49And they were there, like, mafia.
07:50And Frank Vailoas.
07:51Yeah, right.
07:52The animal.
07:53Oh, my God.
07:54But there were these mafia ties attached to it.
07:56Casey turned me on to this documentary.
07:58Any hockey fan should watch it.
08:00But it's just wild.
08:01It's one series of weird events after another.
08:05And did you guys, were you guys aware of it as it was happening?
08:07No.
08:08I had no clue.
08:09Me neither.
08:10Me neither.
08:12I think congratulations is in order for you guys.
08:15On Thursday, you guys got inducted to the National Radio Hall of Fame.
08:19That's correct, sir?
08:20Yes.
08:23That's pretty neat.
08:24Yeah, it was.
08:25It's still impressive what you're saying, and I think for everybody, because this was right before this event, we still haven't processed it.
08:31Yeah.
08:31But once you were there, you know, like I assume it's the same way when you guys are around people who inspired you.
08:37We were at this event, and we're around a whole bunch of legends, and it's like, what the hell are we doing here?
08:43But it was cool.
08:45We just screw around all morning.
08:46Yeah, totally.
08:47That's what we do.
08:47Absolutely.
08:48But Tockett, was he the most recent inducted into the Flyers Hall of Fame?
08:51Him and Paul Holmgren this year.
08:52Okay, and, you know, I mean, so what do you guys think about that, about yourselves and someday being nominated into an illustrious company like that?
09:02Well, go ahead, Danny.
09:06He thinks about it.
09:07I didn't want to go straight to Danny.
09:08Don't really think about that.
09:09I'm sure it was the same thing with you guys.
09:11Yeah, we had no idea.
09:11If it happens, it happens, but that's not, you know, on a day-to-day basis.
09:15You just kind of go about your business and do what you're supposed to do.
09:18No, that's true, because the award you get is this, that you have this, that you were able to play a game that you loved and worked hard at it.
09:24That's the award, and then everything else is icing.
09:26Absolutely.
09:27All right, so the alumni game is coming up on the 15th, and Nick had said this will be at the Wells Fargo Center,
09:32and you can pick up the tickets at wellsfargocenterphilly.com.
09:35Danny, are you part of the handling the operation of that, or am I wrong about that?
09:42About what?
09:43The alumni game.
09:44No, not about the alumni game.
09:45That's Brad's department.
09:47Okay, I got you.
09:49And so it's the Flyers Wives charity that's benefit, correct?
09:53Flyers Charities and Flyers Alumni Charities.
09:55Flyers Alumni Charities.
09:56I'm sorry, how do you guys pick the teams?
09:59Throw a bunch of sticks in the middle?
10:01We're in the process of picking the teams right now, and so we got everyone coming in,
10:07and now we're going to divide the teams up.
10:09We're going to put it out next Monday, I believe, and let the fans have a little fun with it.
10:15Who should be on whose team?
10:16The big question, should we finally split up Lindros and LeClaire or keep them together?
10:21Who's going to be on net?
10:22Yeah, yeah.
10:23But it's going to be a great night.
10:25For those of you that saw the outdoor alumni game back in 2012 at the baseball stadium,
10:31and then, of course, we had an alumni game for the 50th anniversary of the Flyers,
10:35and it's just a great atmosphere for all the old-time Flyer hockey fans.
10:39Yeah, there's so much fun.
10:40The one at the ballpark was just a great time right in advance of the Winter Classic,
10:44and it was amazing to me to see Bernie Perrant make saves in the ballpark and hear the fans go nuts.
10:51Bernie making an alumni game, a practice game, an exhibition, and they still went crazy for it.
10:56Yeah, and, well, if you remember, he stopped Ron Duguay on a break.
11:00I remember.
11:01And we were all sitting on the bench, and, you know, he's from New York.
11:06He loves Broadway.
11:07He loves the Lime Night.
11:08We're all thinking, okay, this hot dog's going to score.
11:11And he went and he shot it right in the breadbasset of Bernie, and the place went nuts.
11:17And so I was back talking to Bernie after he made the big save on Duguay,
11:21and he says to me, he says, Marci, you ain't going to get any better than that.
11:24I'm done.
11:25So he left the net, and I said, Bernie, where are you going?
11:29And he says, I'm done.
11:31And I said, you at least got to do a lap around the rink and wave to everybody.
11:34So he did one lap.
11:35He waved.
11:36He went and got showered, and he came out and coached the rest of the game.
11:39Well, you know when you've hit your beak, your peak, right?
11:42That's right, yeah.
11:43So who's in net for this game?
11:44Casey was going to ask that.
11:45Oh, we got Robert Ash and Neil Little.
11:50Okay.
11:50And we have Mike McKenna coming in from St. Louis to play.
11:57So the goaltending position is the hardest one to fill in alumni hockey
12:01because they're crazy enough to stop 100-mile-an-hour shots when they play.
12:04Who the heck wants to stop them when they're 50, 55 years old?
12:08Because we still try to shoot the puck the same way, high and hard.
12:13Well, from what you guys are saying, you don't ratchet it back that much.
12:18You still got that competitive urge kicking in, and you're playing real hockey.
12:22Yeah, and put Danny on the line with Fedorik and Riley Cote.
12:26I'll feel great.
12:28You'll be six-foot tall.
12:30And I think, Preston, we're going to have some tickets to giveaways.
12:32I'm reading this actually right now.
12:34This was just handed to me, so we can actually give away some tickets.
12:37And we'll take caller number 12 at 215-263-WMMR.
12:42We'll give away tickets to the game, which is Monday, November 15th, 7 p.m.
12:45at the Wells Fargo Center.
12:47And it's Team Target and Team Holmgren.
12:51And we'll set you up if you give us a call right now.
12:53So we'll make sure we do that.
12:54Now, we are going to have a competition right here.
12:57It has nothing to do with hockey at all.
13:01But it's going to be Team Marsh against Team Hartnell.
13:04Woo!
13:05Yes!
13:06And we have actual teams.
13:09We have our listeners that are set up.
13:11We're going to do a game.
13:12It's called Red vs. Blue.
13:14And I'll explain what's happening in just a little bit.
13:16We're going to send these guys outside.
13:18They're going to go on to the Pharaoh's Fury amusement ride that we have.
13:22It's one of those giant boats that rocks back and forth.
13:25And we'll tell you exactly what they're going to be doing in just a moment.
13:27So we'll have you guys head out there, and we'll talk to you in just a second.
13:29Before we go out, I'm not sure if we're coming back in to say anything on the mics.
13:35But on behalf of the Flyers Alumni Association, we'd like to make a donation to your Camp Out for Hunger in the amount of $2,500.
13:42All right!
13:44Thank you very much.
13:44Thank you, sir.
13:45I've gotten to tell you about the real check here.
13:47Thank you so much.
13:49None of those ceremonial ones.
13:50We bring the real money.
13:51I appreciate that.
13:52I'll take it from you, Brad.
13:53You can leave it in the envelope.
13:54There we go.
13:54Really big check.
13:55Yes.
13:55Really big check.
13:56It's a briefcase full of cash.
13:57Standard check.
13:58Well, thanks very much for all you guys do.
14:00It's great.
14:00Likewise.
14:01And good luck out there.
14:01We'll have you guys.
14:02We'll send you out.
14:03Danny Breer, ladies and gentlemen.
14:04Brad Marsh, Scott Hartnell.
14:06They are headed out into our parking lot.
14:08Okay.
14:08Now, we're about to head outdoors for a head-to-head face-off that we are going to try.
14:15It's a contest we're calling Red vs. Blue, and I'll explain exactly why that is.
14:19It's going to be Team Marsh against Team Hartnell.
14:23We have Brad Marsh and Scotty Hartnell being observed by Danny Breer for this event.
14:28Yes, he is known as the—I think that was his nickname, and he was playing right, the Observer.
14:32He was the Observer.
14:32He just said he didn't want to do it, Scott.
14:38All right, so here's what—
14:40You are the Sucker.
14:42That was your name, the Sucker.
14:43So here's what we're doing, and I will explain to everyone.
14:46We have a ride that's called Pharaoh's Fury.
14:48It's one of those ships that rocks back and forth.
14:51And listen, Casey and I were riding the other day.
14:53It goes a lot steeper than it looks.
14:56When you're on the ride, you're a little freaked out on how high up and how steep you are in this style.
15:02We have outfitted a Team Red and a Team Blue.
15:05Scott, what team are you on?
15:06I am Team Red.
15:08All right, Team Red.
15:09And Brad Marsh is Team Blue.
15:13And here's why we've named it that.
15:14Each person that's sitting, and we have the entire thing filled.
15:18Marissa, can you hear me?
15:20I didn't know Marissa had a microphone.
15:21She's in the doorway right there.
15:22Yeah, now we can hear you.
15:23I throw up off to my right.
15:26I'm sorry, Tim.
15:27Yes.
15:27All right.
15:27Scott is Team Red.
15:30Marsh is Team Blue.
15:31Scott already started.
15:32He was doing his whole chant down from the bottom.
15:35He was getting the crowd revved up.
15:37We have 14 people on each side.
15:40All holding two 22-ounce cups full of Gatorade.
15:46All right, so Team Red obviously has red Gatorade, 22-ounce cups, so 44 ounces per person.
15:52And Team Blue is holding blue Gatorade.
15:55Now, the object of this is we're going to activate the ride.
15:59It's going to go back and forth.
16:00You try to keep as much liquid inside of that cup as you can.
16:04And we've also outfitted everyone with their own all-white jumpsuit that they're wearing.
16:09It's kind of like Squid Games.
16:10Yes, and at the end, Preston, it should resemble a Jackson Pollock painting.
16:14Exactly, and when they are done, each team is going to come into the tent here,
16:21and they're going to pour out their liquid into these containers that we have in front of us.
16:24Whichever team has the most amount of liquid in the containers will be deemed our winner.
16:30So that is the object, to retain the liquid in the cup and come in here, and we'll see who wins.
16:35I'm very curious as to how Brad Marsh is currently feeling, because he was not jazzed about doing this ride.
16:41Brad, how are you feeling?
16:44Brad, can you hear us?
16:45Brad cannot hear us.
16:46Okay.
16:47While we fix Brad's equipment, I'm going to get a scouting report from our referee, Danny Breer.
16:51Danny, which team do you think has the upper hand in this?
16:54I'm thinking red.
16:56Red.
16:56Yeah.
16:57Red.
16:57Wow.
16:58Thanks.
16:58Thanks, Lainey.
17:00That's Scotty's team.
17:01That's my old Lainey.
17:02Hey, Brad, can you hear us now?
17:04No.
17:04We haven't gotten to it yet.
17:06We haven't gotten to that yet, because I want to make sure that he can before we get this whole thing started.
17:10So I have to thank the team at Skelly's Amusements.
17:11They actually put people on evenly.
17:13So they put a medium-sized person and a medium-sized person, guys and girls.
17:17So they did the best to make sure that these teams were as even as possible.
17:21How are you guys feeling up there?
17:22It just came on.
17:23Cold.
17:24Yeah, that was really exciting.
17:25Scott, maybe you can lead them in a better chant than that.
17:27All right.
17:28Let's go red.
17:31Let's go red.
17:33That is great.
17:37I love it.
17:37I love it.
17:38They just wanted us to get it started, because it's cold out there, and it's breezy.
17:42Brad, I heard him say it just went out again.
17:45Brad, can you hear me?
17:46I can now.
17:46Yep.
17:47Excellent.
17:47All right, Brad, how are you feeling on your side of the ride?
17:50I'm feeling confident.
17:51I'm feeling confident in Team Blue.
17:54Okay.
17:54Team Blue.
17:55Team Blue.
17:56Team Blue all the way.
17:57Now, Brad, I heard you might actually have an advantage because of motion sickness.
18:02You might actually vomit and add more liquid to this.
18:06Well, that's a nice thought.
18:07I'll lean to my left.
18:08Okay.
18:08Fair enough.
18:09Well, I think we're ready to get this started.
18:11And by the way, this is all on YouTube.
18:12You can stream this live right now.
18:13We have video that's being supplied.
18:15Newman University is handling that.
18:17So I think Team Red, are you ready?
18:19Ready.
18:20Team Blue, are you ready?
18:21We are ready.
18:22All right, Marissa, when they're ready, let's get Red versus Blue fired up and started.
18:27I'm getting, a strategy is just hold it, keep it in.
18:30All right, I'm getting a thumbs up from Skelly's.
18:31You guys get it started as soon as it's ready.
18:33And we're going to hear the audio from both Brad and Scott because the mics are lying.
18:38All right, here we go.
18:39And they have to keep it balanced and keep the liquid in the cups.
18:41That first slow sway, no spills yet.
18:45Remember, no cursing up there, guys.
18:47Okay, my bad.
18:48You got it, Marissa.
18:49You got it.
18:50I'll tell you.
18:51I know one thing.
18:53Team Blue is going to be Team Red after this.
18:55It all flies to the other side.
18:57There is not a single drop spilled yet, guys.
19:02Okay, everyone seems to be holding it pretty well.
19:05This isn't fun.
19:09Nothing.
19:10Not a single drop.
19:11That's fantastic.
19:13They're good, man.
19:15Oh, I did drop one.
19:17One little button.
19:18Their hands are going out in the air.
19:21Oh, darn it.
19:21Oh, darn it.
19:22Oh, darn it.
19:23Oh, darn it.
19:23Get high.
19:24Get high.
19:25Whoa.
19:27This is the part that you start feeling a little nauseous.
19:30It's really high.
19:31Okay.
19:31Okay.
19:32Whoa.
19:33Whoa, whoa, whoa.
19:36I think Brad wants it to be over.
19:37Yeah.
19:38Desperately.
19:39This is the equivalent of the teacups for all these people right now.
19:42All right.
19:42And it looks like it is slowing down indeed, but they held on a little bit better than I
19:46thought would happen.
19:47I did very well.
19:47There is some spillage, but those cups, for the most part, seem to be full, but it's still
19:51going.
19:54It's coming to an end now.
19:55It's doing its final descent.
19:57Yeah.
19:57I love it.
19:58Yeah.
19:58All right.
19:58You're setting this up.
20:00All right.
20:00So, still, there's a lot of liquid to be measured, and we'll see.
20:04Scott, do you have any spillage on you?
20:05I do.
20:05I have a couple milliliters.
20:07Okay, so make sure that as you come in and you don't want to lose your any liquid, just
20:12walking in, that would be a waste.
20:15Hey, Brad, how did you do with your cups?
20:18I did pretty darn good, I think.
20:20Okay.
20:21I got one drop.
20:22He drank half it, but I got one drop.
20:24Wow.
20:25He's not thirsty.
20:26I'm wondering if we need to pick six people from each team and throw them on the can drop.
20:29Oh, and hold their cups going down the head?
20:32Right, right.
20:32We can do that easily.
20:33All right, but we still have to measure this and find out which team came out ahead.
20:36Guys, I don't think our containers are big enough for all the liquids that's coming
20:39back.
20:39All right, well, listen, listen.
20:41Do we put some people on the can drop in between?
20:43Well, do you want to do that?
20:45I'm just saying, I know, I bought.
20:48Well, we have to stick to the original rules, right?
20:50Okay.
20:50Yeah, yeah.
20:50We have to stick to the original rules.
20:52If we do this now.
20:52But we could have a playoff.
20:54We could have a playoff.
20:55Yeah.
20:56But I think Marissa's right, because we were watching, and everyone seemed to retain their liquid
20:59level pretty nicely.
21:00Yeah, we have to worry about the competition committee coming in and shutting this down.
21:04We will lose our international license.
21:06If you were to use physics, okay, if you were to hold the cup with just two fingers like
21:10this onto the brim.
21:11Like a pendulum.
21:12It would rock back and forth.
21:14And by physics, it would all stay in.
21:16I don't know if that's centrifugal or centripetal force, but either one of those, it would keep
21:19everything in there.
21:20So maybe they were-
21:20It's exculpatory.
21:21They were thinking about that.
21:22Yeah.
21:22I remember last time we did this with the coffee, and whoever was on it, it was all
21:26over them.
21:26It was Jillian Millie.
21:27And Nick.
21:28Yeah.
21:28Yeah, you guys had coffee all over you.
21:30Yeah, it was a total disaster.
21:32Yep.
21:33All right.
21:33So we're going to have them all march into here and start to pour the liquids out into
21:38the containers that we have in front of us.
21:40And after all the liquid is poured out, we will measure them, and we will see which
21:44team comes out victorious.
21:46And that team will walk away with no prize whatsoever, because we don't have anything to give away.
21:51But we will find out who gets bragging rights on red versus blue.
21:55Here comes Scott Hartnell, spotless captain of Team Red.
21:59Let's go.
22:00I'm going to pour that into the red container, Scott.
22:03And yeah, Marissa's right.
22:04We'll have to see if this is overflowing or not.
22:06He's making sure that every single drop gets in there.
22:09Wow.
22:09And we have 14 people that are going to be pouring all of this wonderful Gatorade, red
22:14and blue.
22:15Blues, you can step up and go, too.
22:16Go ahead.
22:17Preston, I'm not seeing a lot of spill on the-
22:21Yeah, on the uniform.
22:21No, they just-
22:22These guys are pros.
22:23We got a little bit on this guy right here.
22:25He was pointing that out to us.
22:26But it might run off.
22:27I haven't checked out that material to see if it's absorbent at all or not on those jumpsuits.
22:32It may be- it may just run right off of them.
22:34All right.
22:34Preston, let me- while you're mentioning those jumpsuits, thank Ferguson Supplies.
22:37They gave them to us a bunch of years ago for our gender reveal.
22:41Yes.
22:41When we covered everybody.
22:42And thanks, because they came in handy.
22:44That's right.
22:44By the way, does anybody want to do any gender revealing right now?
22:46Yeah, we could.
22:47We have red and blue.
22:48Yeah, we could do that.
22:49Red could go for pink.
22:50We really should use jumpsuits for every contest we do ever.
22:53It's amazing.
22:54They look fantastic.
22:55Hey, guys.
22:55Guys.
22:56It's Danny Breer here.
22:57I was really impressed with the hands.
22:59The steady hands.
23:00Yes.
23:01I have to agree.
23:02I mean, you were known to have great hands.
23:03Well, we might have some alumni possibilities.
23:07You're right.
23:08We already showed some players.
23:09Some rookies potential.
23:10All right.
23:11Very cool.
23:11All right.
23:12The final contestants are coming in.
23:13We have a couple of red.
23:14One more blue coming off.
23:16Two more blues coming off.
23:17Oh, my goodness.
23:17Guys, make sure you get every drop out because I think this is going to be a contest decided
23:21by drops.
23:21Yeah.
23:22This is really close.
23:23Right now, blue's got the edge, but there's more reds that have to.
23:26Yeah, there we go.
23:28I see more reds and blues that are filling up the container.
23:30Wow.
23:31And this is going to be a close one.
23:33And we might indeed have to have a playoff on the can drop ride.
23:37All right.
23:37People are making sure they get every last drop in the bucket.
23:40No, they need to.
23:40Kathy, look at how close it is.
23:42Yeah.
23:42Yeah, because nobody's winning.
23:44Right now, red is in the lead, but we still have some blues that have to step up.
23:47Yep.
23:48And there's still one, two, three people with reds, three people with blues.
23:53This could be.
23:55And the one time we did this, we had a tie as well.
23:58If you remember, we ended up having to do this twice.
24:00By the way, I can't even look at Gatorade without thinking of colonoscopy prep president.
24:03And it is the preferred beverage when you're getting a colonoscopy.
24:08All right, look at this, Preston.
24:09It is neck and neck.
24:11Oh, my goodness.
24:11Who is going to be our official judge when we finally have the last drop in there?
24:14Danny Breer, I think, right?
24:16Because he's impartial.
24:17Yeah.
24:17And wait a minute.
24:20I think we need a judge.
24:21Yeah.
24:21Where's Danny?
24:22Danny, where are you?
24:23Right here.
24:24Right behind the bucket.
24:25We need you to take us up.
24:26Anything left?
24:27All right.
24:27Danny, what's it going to be?
24:28Everybody's in?
24:29Yep.
24:30Yeah, I had called the red.
24:31Red!
24:32Red!
24:32Yeah!
24:33Oh, my God!
24:35Oh, my God!
24:36Oh, my God!
24:37Actually, I don't think I've lost the last couple years.
24:41Nice!
24:42Stands victorious and remains our champion.
24:45To be honest, what I was seeing, I was not seeing a lot of spillage, but this is actually
24:48fairly decisive.
24:49Yeah.
24:50There must have been more than we had anticipated, more than we had seen.
24:53The question is, where the hell did it go?
24:55Yeah.
24:55Did anybody drink their Gatorade?
24:56I told you Marshy was thirsty.
24:58It had to be!
24:59It had to be!
25:00Yeah, some Gatorade evaporated.
25:02Yeah, look at that.
25:03All right.
25:03Well, you guys are good sports.
25:05Thank you so much for participating in that, and nobody got as messy as we thought they
25:09would, so that's a bonus, too, because you don't have to go out of here with socks that
25:12are soaked in Gatorade.
25:13We were going to use raw sewage initially, but we passed on that.
25:16Next time we'll do that, for sure.
25:18Well, thank you guys.
25:19We appreciate it.
25:20Scott Hartnell, Brad Marsh, Danny Breyer, Flyers alumni on the 15th, and thank you all listeners
25:25for participating.
25:26We'll see you next time.
25:30We'll see you next time.
