00:00Today we talked about Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers and the fact that there may be an issue when it comes to pay and maybe that's why it's taking so long and I made the comment that maybe that's going to be a pretty big blow to the ego for Aaron Rodgers.

00:19He said that Rodgers approached the Vikings saying that he wanted to play for them go for a Super Bowl run one year and be a mentor for J.J. McCarthy.
00:31They said that basically he said there would be no question that he is the front runner the starter going into the season he would be the starter all year long and he would mentor McCarthy behind.

00:46That in itself tells me exactly what I need to know about how NFL teams look at Aaron Rodgers that he could ruin the future for them that that one year with J.J. McCarthy sitting behind Aaron Rodgers was not a good idea for them even though Aaron Rodgers would clearly be the more talented quarterback for one season.

01:40He wants to make a one more run at it that's why I think Pittsburgh is going to be the perfect landing spot for him because Tomlin has to know we as a team and as an organization we're like knocking on the door I'm on the hot seat the Steelers fans you know they they want to see this team get back there and what are you going to do you're sitting there at number 21 even if you do draft a rookie whether it's Shador Jackson Dodd with some of the other reports out there.
