Dharashiv, Maharashtra — A heartbreaking incident unfolded at R.G. Shinde College in Paranda, Dharashiv district, where a 20-year-old student, Varsha Kharat, died suddenly while delivering a farewell speech on stage.

The tragic moment, which was caught on video and has since gone viral on social media, shows Varsha smiling and laughing while addressing her classmates. Just moments after making a light-hearted remark, she suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed mid-speech. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.

Varsha, a B.Sc student, was participating in the college’s farewell function when the shocking incident occurred. Preliminary reports suggest a heart attack may have been the cause of her death, though the exact reason is yet to be confirmed by medical authorities.

In her final words, Varsha had said, “Everyone learns as much as they can according to their own ability,” before joking with her classmates. What followed was an emotional and unforgettable moment as the young student collapsed, bringing the program to an abrupt halt.

This incident comes amid rising concerns over sudden cardiac deaths among youth in India. Similar cases have been reported across the country in recent years, with videos frequently surfacing online, sparking widespread discussions about health awareness and early screening.

The sudden loss of Varsha has left fellow students, teachers, and viewers of the video deeply shaken and emotional.
