Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh: A young man from Jabalpur has gone missing after posting a video on social media accusing his wife of mental harassment and domestic violence. The case took a mysterious turn when his wife also went missing shortly after.

The man, identified as Anand Dubey, a resident of Nirbhay Nagar in the city’s Aadhartal area, shared an emotional video message in which he alleged being a victim of domestic abuse. He stated, "Not only girls but boys are also victims of domestic violence." He also apologized to his parents and sister in the video, which has since gone viral.

Following the video’s circulation, Anand's phone was found switched off and he could not be reached. His sudden disappearance prompted his family to approach the police. Shockingly, soon after the incident, his wife also went missing from their residence.

Aadhartal police station in-charge Virendra Khatik confirmed that missing person reports have been filed for both individuals and a search operation is underway. “We are aware of the viral video and have launched an investigation. Efforts are being made to trace both Anand and his wife,” said the officer.

Anand had been married for four years. According to his family, while the relationship started smoothly, frequent arguments and growing tension led to severe mental stress for him in recent times.

The case has drawn attention to the broader issue of domestic violence faced by men, a subject Anand highlighted in his video. As the police continue their search, the family remains deeply concerned about the safety and whereabouts of both individuals.
