00:00Let's get to Paul Skeens, one of the most talented pitchers in Major League Baseball,
00:04going down to Tampa, but not once again playing at the TROP outdoors at Steinbrenner Field.
00:10Some heat and humidity, 917, 918 on the rotation, a 1 o'clock start mark, the opening number,
00:15favorite for Skeens overnight, minus 120 at the Fandu Sportsbook.
00:18Still sitting right now at minus 120 at the Fandu Sportsbook.
00:22A 7.5 has turned into 7s now on the live number.
00:26Pittsburgh, Tampa, what do you got?
00:29This is a very favorable number for a Paul Skeens start.
00:33By the end of last season, Paul Skeens was nearly a two-to-one favorite every time they
00:36stepped on the mound for the full-game price on the money line.
00:39So the reason why it is this number is because the Pittsburgh Pirates have the Atlanta Braves
00:44to thank for not being dead last pretty much in every major offensive category so far to
00:49start the season.
00:50They're bottom five in batting average OPS and WRC Plus to start the year.
00:54They're not hitting the ball.
00:55They haven't scored more than four runs in any game this year and scored a combined three
00:59runs over their last three games, including getting shut out last night.
01:03I'd back Skeens on the first five money line here, lay a little bit extra juice, and back
01:08the Pirates on the first five money line.
01:09I think that's probably the way you go.
01:12Skeens may have to be near perfect, but again, he faced the Rays last year, six innings,
01:17one run, eight strikeouts, okay.
01:21I'd be willing to live with 1-1 and getting out of there with a push if that's the case.
01:25Hopefully the Pirates can get some baseball aggression here that I talk about and just
01:30find a way to push three or four runs across early and coast the rest of the way.
