00:03Carlos Rodon gets the start tonight against Andrew Heaney.
00:06The Pinstripes, a road favorite in Texas once more.
00:10Total of nine.
00:11What's the play?
00:12Yeah, I think you're going to look at the Yankees tonight as the right side.
00:15You take a look also at the pitching prospects here of Carlos Rodon.
00:17Not a great pitcher this year, but his last 60 days, 4.10, should be able to keep you
00:21in the game and a manageable XFIP number of 3.72.
00:24He is tonight, at least analytically, the better pitcher over Andrew Heaney.
00:28If you're looking from an RBI perspective, Heaney's a left-handed pitcher, has struggled
00:31at times with right-handed batters.
00:33You look right to that leadoff guy tonight in Gleyber Torres and maybe Aaron Judge.
00:37He still has sizzling numbers against left-handed pitching.
00:40His last 42 at-bats, a 5.83 iso, and a weighted-on-base percentage of 6.16.
00:45If we're looking at that Texas lineup, the one thing that we do know, they don't hit
00:48left-handed pitching all that well, but they will have a ton of right-handed batters in
00:52that lineup.
00:53That's the way to attack Carlos Rodon, a left-handed pitcher.
00:55His last 29 at-bats and, quite frankly, his 115 left-handed batters he's faced on the
00:59season.
01:00He's been dominant, but a little bit leaky against right-handed batters.
01:03Still going to go with the Yankees.
01:04We're not saying they need this game more than the Texas range.
01:07It's not really the right way to approach it with roughly a month left to go in the
01:10season, but I think Rodon will be able to step up to the plate and the Yankees superstars
01:14will be able to carry the tide.
01:15I think the Yanks handled their business tonight.
