00:00Let's take it across to the Motor City Detroit Tigers at home going against the Tampa Bay

00:09And Donnie, the Rays have been playing some fantastic baseball aside from going on the

00:12road.

00:13Last night they go down two to one.

00:15They get Zach Little in the mix going against Montero for the Tigers this afternoon.

00:20It's very close to being a pick him.

00:21The total set at seven and a half.

00:23How do you see it playing out?

00:24Yeah, take a look at Carter Montero is going to be on the mound.

00:26His last 60 days had 61 innings pitches ERA WC 4.28 at an expert number of 4.13.

00:33But if we take a look at his last 30 days, the last 112 batters he's faced over that

00:38month, a 210 ISO.

00:39Not good enough.

00:40That's elevated.

00:41A weighted on base percentage slightly above average at a 326.

00:44But also, if we're looking at what he's done against left handed batters, since he's a

00:48right handed pitcher over the past month, hasn't been great at 211 ISO and a weighted

00:53on base percentage of 366.

00:55The first six batters in the lineup tonight for Tampa Bay against right handed pitching

00:59over the past month, 236, 176, 157, 327, 179 and 194.

01:06Five of those six batters with elevated ISO powered numbers.

01:09Now granted, you look at this and say one team not really going to make the playoffs

01:13and set some miracle over the final five or six days of the season going up against Detroit,

01:18who's in the thick of it and needs the victory.

01:20There is something to be said about that.

01:22But if I'm being honest, I look at that Tampa Bay side that didn't show up last night.

01:25Again, Tarek Scoble's on the mound.

01:27A lot of teams don't show up against him as a dominant left handed pitcher.

01:30But I look forward to a team total today for the Rays because I think they can get the

01:34Cuyter-Montero.

01:35Now granted, Detroit may be able to win this game, but I think Tampa Bay is going to be

01:38able to scratch out a couple of runs and hit that team total.
