00:05The first batch of the Philippine Interagency Humanitarian Response Team has arrived in Myanmar

00:10to help those who are on the brink of magnitude 7.7.

00:14Lt. Col. Irwin Diploma and some members and volunteers of the Philippine Army,

00:21Bureau of Fire Protection, MMDA, DENR, Office of Civil Defense, and Medical Team of the DOH

00:27are expected to stay there for 18 days to assist in medical support,

00:32logistic operations, and aircraft security.

00:35According to the Philippine Embassy in Yangon,

00:38four Filipinos are still being looked for,

00:42following the earthquake.

00:44According to Myanmar's authorities, more than 2,000 have been evacuated.

00:48The United Nations has called on the international community

00:51to speed up the relief and rescue operations to those on the brink of earthquake

00:55as it may be difficult, especially during the monsoon season.

01:02Meanwhile, 22 families affected by the eruption of volcano Kalaon

01:06have moved to a new resettlement site in Bago City, Negros Occidental,

01:10instead of modular tents.

01:12This is being done in Bahay Kubo.

01:14According to the report, the local government of Bago City

01:17moved the residents to Kapag On Village in Barangay Napoles

01:21after they were temporarily evacuated to the Regional Evacuation Center in Barangay Lagasan

01:26that lasted for four months.

01:28The residents are continuing to ensure the protection

01:31against the continued risk of volcano eruption.

01:34This past Tuesday,

01:35PHIVOX reported the next eruption and eruption of the volcano

01:39from 5 a.m. that lasted until 12 p.m.
