00:14President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured the Filipino workers that the government is working hard to focus on increasing wages.

00:23According to PNE, there is a way to increase the wages of the workers in the private sector, but there is something that needs to be resolved.

00:32Some of this is related to the legal aspect, as well as the economic aspect, while the other implications of some groups of employers should also be considered.

00:42This is particular to the small business owners or medium, small and medium enterprises or MSMEs.

00:50According to PNE, the issue that should be applied in education should be a balanced approach.

01:00I think there is a way to increase that, but we have to resolve the legal issues, we have to resolve the economic issues.

01:07So it still deserves a great deal of study.

01:10The President added that they are also studying the possible effects of the inflation of the rising wages.

01:16In particular, the Chief Executive said that there is a possibility of increasing consumer pricing.

01:23We are also studying if there will be an increase in consumer pricing.

01:29It means that inflationary may become inflationary.

01:33According to the President, the plan of each sector should be taken into account and from there, it should be balanced to have an effect on the other.

01:41There is no problem, said the President, in increasing wages for large corporations, as long as they are able to provide wage hike.

01:49But what needs to be considered is the ability of small employers on the other side to reduce their number of workers when their salaries increase.
