00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ordered the Department of Migrant Workers' Secretary, Hans Leo Kakdak,
00:06to provide livelihood and employment support to 17 seafarers of the MV Galaxy Leader.
00:13This is while they were waking up after being hostaged by the Houthi rebels in Yemen.
00:18The President's directive is to help the Filipino seafarers wake up.
00:22Aside from the Thanksgiving Mass, the DMW also welcomed the crew
00:26and their families to a Salo-Salo.
00:30They received financial assistance, training certificates, and gift bags from the DMW, OWA, and TESDAC.
00:37The marines are very grateful to President Marcos for their sacrifice for their safety and well-being.
00:44Kakdak also thanked Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo and Transportation Secretary Jimmy Bautista.
