00:36that Heffley forgot to take his schizophrenia medication. So why are we seeing this meme go
00:40viral in 2025? The early 2020s saw a lot of different kinds of edits of scenes from Diary
00:45of a Wimpy Kid, mostly making fun of it for being campy or corny. For example, the clip
00:50account Frank F***ing Heffley has been consistently posting meme edits featuring the character since
00:552023. On March 6th, 2025, TikToker SpookyDookyson posted a creepypasta-like edit of Frank Heffley
01:09with a grainy black and white filter tagged Horror Talk. The video garnered over 1.7 million views
01:14in under two weeks. The same TikToker would continue to post
01:24horror-like edits featuring Heffley over the following weeks, with many garnering multiple
01:28millions of views. More TikTokers would also start posting similar edits depicting Heffley
01:33as a potentially dangerous schizophrenic who may have even hallucinated the entire Wimpy Kid
01:38universe. Memes would also reference the theory in other ways, with some memers claiming it put
01:42an end to the meme drought of March 2025. The trend may have also evolved from a similar recent
01:48trend known as Soo Talk, which would make similarly absurd meme edits using the character
01:52Soo Heck from the TV show The Middle.
