00:39spreading slowly until January 31st, 2025, when two reposts of the clip went viral, one on Instagram and one on X.
00:46On February 2nd, X user Slayworldolby tweeted a screencap of XXXTentacion from the video and added a caption that turned his quote into a phrasal template,
00:55with the dialogue, Do you know who Big Chungus is? and What's that? with a little heartbreak emoji.
01:00X users would continue to make memes like this, replacing the unknown subject in the exchange with all kinds of things that someone might be heartbreakingly unaware of.
01:08The video also spread to TikTok, where many users would recreate it as part of the 99.99% accuracy trend of creators reciting lines from viral videos.
01:16Often, users would put on filters imitating the rapper's hair while reciting the poignant exchange.
