Heavy Rains in Telangana : వేసవి కంటే ముందే వేడికి సతమతమవుతున్న వేళ శుక్రవారం ఒక్కసారిగా రాష్ట్రంలోని పలు చోట్ల అకాల వర్షాలు కురిశాయి. ఎండిపోతున్న పంటలను ట్యాంకర్లు సహా అష్టకష్టాలు పడి కాపాడుకున్న రైతన్నలకు మాత్రం వడగళ్లు కడగండ్లను మిగిల్చాయి. ఉమ్మడి ఆదిలాబాద్‌, నిజామాబాద్, మెదక్‌, కరీంనగర్ జిల్లాల్లో ఉరుములు, మెరుపులతో కూడిన వర్షం కురిసింది. నిజామాబాద్ జిల్లా సిద్దిపేట జిల్లాల్లో ఈదురుగాళ్లతో కూడిన వడగళ్ల వాన కురవడంతో పంట నేలకు రాలింది.
పొట్ట దశకు వచ్చిన వరిపంటకు నష్టం వాటిల్లింది. జగిత్యాల జిల్లాలో అక్కడక్కడ మామిడి కాయలు రాలిపోయాయి. కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా చొప్పదండి వ్యవసాయ మార్కెట్లో మొక్కజొన్న ధాన్యం కొట్టుకుపోయింది. భగీరథ ప్రయత్నాలు చేసి కాపాడుకున్న కొద్ది పంట సైతం నష్టపోయామంటూ రైతులు కన్నీరుమున్నీరయ్యారు.
