Heavy Rains Floods In Khammam : జలవిలయం ఉమ్మడి ఖమ్మం జిల్లాను కకావికలం చేసింది. 15 గంటల పాటు ఏకధాటిగా కురిసిన జడివానతో ఊళ్లన్ని ఏర్లను రహదారులు, చెరువుల్ని తలపించాయి. కాకరవాయిలో రాష్ట్రంలోనే అత్యధికంగా 52.19 సెంటీమీటర్ల వర్షం నమోదైంది. పిడుగులా పడిన మున్నేరు మరోసారి ఖమ్మం ముంపు ప్రాంతాల్లో కల్లోలం రేపింది. చూస్తుండగానే ముంపు కాలనీలను మున్నేరు వరద చుట్టుముట్టింది. పదులసంఖ్యలో కాలనీలు, వందలాది ఇళ్లు జలదిగ్భందంలో చిక్కుకున్నాయి. ఎన్నడూ లేనంతగా పాలేరు జలాశయం మహోగ్రరూపం దాల్చింది. భక్తరామదాసు పంప్‌హౌజ్‌ నీటమునిగింది. నాగార్జునసాగర్ కాల్వకు రెండు చోట్ల భారీ గండిపడింది. భారీ వరదలు వర్షాలకు ఉమ్మడి జిల్లాల్లో ఐదుగురు మృత్యువాతపడగా ఇద్దరు గల్లంతయ్యారు.
