10:15The two most popular two seeds to pick to win it all are St. John's and Michigan State.
10:20If you look at ESPN has percentage of brackets with the winners.
10:26So as you'd expect, the four number ones are your four most popular picks.
10:33Duke is picked to win it all in 25% of the brackets.
10:37Florida is picked to win it all in 21.2% of the brackets.
10:42Auburn jumps all the way down to 10.9%.
10:47Houston 8.9%.
10:50The next most likely team is St. John's at 4.9% of the brackets.
10:56Michigan State 4.5% of the brackets.
11:00From TT and Jack, I have Alabama beating Iowa State in the championship game.
11:05So Alabama is one of the best offensive teams in the country.
11:08Iowa State just lost a key player, but they've had others step up and play well.
11:14What sunk Iowa State in the Big 12 title game was a BYU team that went, I think, 18 for
11:1936 from 3, which bounced them.
11:24Iowa State still has a leading scorer.
11:26Iowa State is a chaos team defensively.
11:30So they can be a hard matchup because they play a style of defense that you don't see
11:33a lot of.
11:34Years ago, Temple was like that.
11:36They played that matchup zone and everybody faced them in March struggled with them.
11:40Iowa State can be that team.
11:41They can be a problem.
11:42They'd be a lot stronger pick if they were fully healthy, but they're still not a bad
11:46pick.

13:42I could see a lot of people, if they're going to have an upset, it would be Lipscomb over

14:13Well, I'm looking at my bracket and I see that I had Iowa State beating Lipscomb, which
14:17I still believe will happen.
14:18But it's that next round matchup against Carolina.
14:22And I had Iowa State getting past Carolina.
14:24Well, if Carolina is going to shoot 50% from three, they're going to be a problem.
14:29Well, Carolina is as much maligned as they were from getting into this tournament, or
14:34at least getting into the play-in game.
14:36And now that they're in the tournament, and I get it, people are upset because other teams
14:41they thought were better than the 1-12 record in quad one games looks awful.
14:45They were 8-2 down the stretch.
14:49So they were playing much better basketball in the last 10 games than what they were in
14:53the previous 20 games.
14:55So a lot of it is recency bias.
14:59They're playing well right now.
15:00So how far are they going to go?

15:39I will say my Monday night game is Houston versus Florida.
15:45Houston's the best shooting team from three of any team in the tournament.
15:50They are balanced scoring wise.
15:53They have great role players.
15:56Two guys are on the defensive team.
15:58Two guys on their roster, defensive, conference, defensive players.
16:02All conference defensive teams, excuse me.
16:05They got a Ken Palm rating of number two in the country defensively.
16:09So you've got an elite defensive team that can shoot it.
16:12And they're not filled with pros, which is a bit of a concern.
16:15Like usually you got to have some guys that are NBA quality, but it's about what you do
16:18in college.
16:19That's right.
16:20I mean, you're not there to breed NBA players.
16:23You're there to try and win March Madness.
16:26Calvin Sampson is, and I think he's got the team to do it.
16:31Florida has got seven guys that can hit threes.
16:33They are relentless.
16:35They come at you with a bunch of different shooters.
16:38Barrage of shooters, if you will.
16:41And they do have a pro.
16:42The point guard, Clayton, is a pro.
16:44So I got actually Houston winning it all, beating Florida on Monday night.
16:48I've been filling out brackets for probably 30 years.
16:50I've probably done like 30 brackets sporadically throughout some of those earlier years.
16:56Out of those 30 brackets or so that I've filled out, I feel like...

17:01Yeah.
17:02You picked Duke to win it all more than half the time.
17:03Well, that's not where I was going to go, but that's probably true.
17:06What I was going to say is I probably picked Duke to be in the Final Four probably 90%
17:11of the time.
17:12Yep.
17:13That has not changed.
17:14I have Duke making the Final Four, getting to the final game.
17:19And then this is something I haven't done in a long time.
17:21I have Michigan State beating Duke for the national championship.
17:24I don't normally pick Michigan State to go that far.
17:27Sometimes I get them to go in the Final Four, but I don't know how many times I've ever
17:30had them going all the way.
17:32I think this is a tricky Michigan State team that with the defensive pressure, they can
17:36turn it on and kind of suffocate teams.
17:39And because they have kind of this balance of inside and outside and an emerging superstar,
17:44all this could be a perfect storm.
17:48And for my own entertainment, I thought, why not use that perfect storm to say that they're
17:51going to win it all?
