00:00The Fastest Horse of the Week brought to you by the Fast Stallions at Windstar Farm.
00:06Like this sire, who at one point was named a TDN Rising Star after he won at Saratoga.
00:12By 11 and a half lengths, we'll identify that stallion at Windstar shortly.
00:18But first, Fastest Horse of the Week from Rural Police, Dr. Schivel, who won the allowance
00:23race on Saturday right before the San Luis Rey at San Anita.
00:27It was only a three-horse field, five-hundred scratch down to three, but Dr. Schivel outran
00:32a pretty nice old pro in CZ Rocket, went essentially wire-to-wire, and earned a fire speed figure
00:37of 105.
00:40It was the first start for Dr. Schivel since he ran in Maidan in the Dubai Golden Shaheen
00:48of 2022, not 2023.
00:51He finished pretty good in that race.
00:53He finished third.
00:54Remember earlier in the Breeders' Cup sprint before that, he was beating just a nose in
00:59the sprint.
01:00So, a very, very talented sprinter.
01:03He was out because of bone bruising, but he bounced back in a big way to earn the Fastest
01:08Horse of the Week mantle with that 105 fire figure.
01:12We'll see where they wind up running Dr. Schivel next.
01:15Now, that Kentucky bred that we were talking about standing stud at Windstar Farm happens
01:22to be Nashville.
01:23Nashville would live up to that rising star tag by dominating the field of Keeneland in
01:28an allowance race in the second start.
01:31He ran the fastest six furlongs of the 2020 Keeneland meet.
01:35That was the COVID meet.
01:36He won a race at Oakland also in 108.61 for six furlongs, which was the fastest time at
01:42that track in two years.
01:43And remember that race on the Breeders' Cup undercard?
01:46It was a full second faster at six furlongs than the Breeders' Cup sprint wound up being
01:52run in.
01:53It's Nashville.
01:54Speed, speed, speed.
01:56Standing at Windstar for a fee of $15,000.
