00:05which had its newest graded stakes winner, the stallion that we're going to be talking
00:09about, and that's Web Slinger in the Grade II American Turf Stakes, a loaded field on
00:15Saturday on the Kentucky Derby undercard.
00:18First, the Fastest Horse of the Week, Smile Pappy, who won the Ali Sheba on Friday, and
00:25he beat Art Collector, and he beat West Willpower, and he beat them fair and square with a buyer
00:32speed figure of 110.
00:35That makes Smile Happy not only in the mix at the head of the Older Horse Division, it
00:41might put Smile Happy right now at the very top of the Older Horse Division.
00:45It was his third start as a four-year-old.
00:49Remember, as a two-year-old, Smile Happy was a stakes winner at Churchill Downs.
00:54As a three-year-old, he was second in a couple of big races in the Risen Star to Epicenter
00:59and then to Zandon in the Bluegrass Stakes, and now he has come back strongly at age four
01:05for his owners, the Mackin family of Louisville, and for trainer Ken McPeak, he was ridden
01:11by Brian Hernandez.
01:13Now for that Fast Stallion at Windstar Farm, it is Constitution, the sire of Web Slinger,
01:18the leading fifth crop sire by black-type winners, black-type horses, graded stakes
01:24horses in percentage of grade one winners from starters.
01:28Constitution not only won the grade one don with a 111 buyer, he sired nine individual
01:33runners with buyers of 100 or more in 2022.
01:36No stallion has more, with graded stakes winners on dirt and turf from six furlongs to a mile
01:42and a quarter, and a classic winner in his first crop, Constitution can get you any kind
01:47of a horse.
01:48Constitution leads the sire list at Windstar at a fee of $110,000.
