00:00The Fastest Horse of the Week is brought to you, as always, by the fast stallions of Windstar
00:06Farm.
00:07And this week, I think it's happened once before, it's actually the fastest horses of
00:12the week.
00:13Yes, we have two that tied with the top buyer speed figure of the week.
00:17And even more unusual is that both came from the same car.
00:22It was Laurel Hart on Saturday on a muddy racetrack.
00:26We started off in race four, where the Pennsylvania bred Nimitz Class scored a very impressive
00:33two and three quarters length victory in the native Dancer's Stakes at a mile and an eighth.
00:37Nimitz Class was the one to five favorite earned a buyer speed figure of 99.
00:45Later in the afternoon, because it was a wet day, the King Leatherberry Stakes was taken
00:50off of the turf.
00:52And the winner of that five and a half furlong sprint in the muddy dirt was Stage Left, who
00:58scores by two and a quarter lengths.
00:59He was the two to one second favorite in the King Leatherberry, and Stage Left also earned
01:05a buyer speed figure of 99.
01:08So Nimitz Class and Stage Left, the co-fastest horses of the week.
01:13Now, for that fast sire at Windstar, they don't come much faster than N2 Mischief's
01:18fastest son, Life is Good.
01:21He was, of course, a three time grade one winner last year.
01:25Effortless winner of the Woodward, uncontested winner of the Whitney, dominant winner of
01:30the Pegasus World Cup over the previous year's horse of the year, Nick's Go.
01:35Also, he won the one million dollar Breeders' Cup dirt mile by five and three quarters lengths,
01:40which was the largest margin of victory at the 21 Breeders' Cup.
01:45And with a one twelve buyer speed figure, he still rates as N2 Mischief's fastest son
01:51on the numbers, earning nine triple digit buyers.
01:55TDN Rising Star in his career debut, Life is Good stands at Windstar for a fee of $100,000.
