00:00The fastest horse of the week is brought to you by the fast stallions at Windstar
00:04Farms, such as the stallion Elliot Walden, once said was one of the fastest
00:09racehorses Windstar ever had. Which stallion is that? First, the fastest horse
00:15of the week. No surprise, it is Last Samurai. We told you about his razorback
00:20handicap in which he mowed down Wes Willpower from off the base. Well, he
00:24earned a week high buyer in that race of 105. Wayne Lucas had previously won
00:30the Razorback. Guess when? 1985. 38 years earlier was Wayne's first win in the
00:38Razorback. Last Samurai is owned by Kevin Horton and family who are
00:43continuing with the Willis Horton Racing Stable after the death last October of
00:48the prominent Arkansas owner. Last Samurai, bred by Stone Street, is a
00:53five-year-old by Malibu Moon out of a first Samurai mare. Now, who is that fast
00:59sire at Windstar? As a three-year-old in 2020, Nashville flew up the charts with
01:05a bullet by winning his first three starts by a combined 24 and three
01:09quarters lengths. The third of which was a win in the Perryville on the Breeders
01:14Cup undercard in which he set a kingdom track record for six furlongs. 107.89
01:19that not only still stands but it would have won the last two Breeders Cup
01:23sprints by a wide margin. If speed is key, then Nashville has plenty to share
01:30standing his first year at Windstar for a fee of $15,000.
