00:05such as the sire that ran ten triple-digit buyer speed figures, nine of them in a row.
00:11We'll talk about that sire a little later.
00:13First, the Fastest Horse of the Week.
00:15Now technically, President's Day, it was February the 20th, it was a Monday, was a part of this
00:20past week.
00:21So our Fastest Horse of the Week is the Chosen Brun, whose six-and-a-half length victory
00:26in the Tisnow Stakes at Santa Anita on Monday earned the week's high buyer speed figure

00:32The Chosen Brun is a five-year-old gelding by the Danzig stallion Bronski, hence his
00:38name, and it's now won five straight stakes races against California Breds for trainer
00:42Eric Kruljak.
00:44But don't dismiss him just because he's been running against State Breds.
00:47He is fast.
00:49Before the Tisnow, he had run seven furlongs and won 20.66.
00:54Six furlongs and won 08.96.
00:57And don't forget, as a three-year-old, he beat Open Company in the Grade 3 Laz Berrera
01:01and the Grade 3 Affirmed, both at Santa Anita.
01:04He's on a roll.
01:05The Chosen Brun, Fastest Horse of the Week.
01:09Now back to that fast sire at Windstar, Toms de Ta, the dominant winner of the Grade 1

01:28at 147.30, two hundredths of a second off the track record set back in 1999.
01:35Those were just two of the 10 triple-digit buyer speed figures from the Grade 1 winning
