00:00The RSS now has spoken out over the Aurangzeb controversy and sent across a very clear message
00:06that they don't approve of this war debate over Aurangzeb now. The RSS in their messages sent
00:12has said very clearly that Aurangzeb is not relevant today and this kind of violence is
00:18unhealthy for society. A very important message that's come in from the Sangh and perhaps a
00:24message to their own as well as BJP Netas have also been resorting to making provocative
00:30statements against Aurangzeb. The RSS says look Aurangzeb is not relevant today. It doesn't
00:36matter what he stood for, what he did, the atrocities that he committed. He's simply
00:40not relevant today because this happened centuries ago. The Sangh saying any form of
00:45violence is unhealthy for society. Will this now lead to you know all of the tempers being
00:53particularly from you know those affiliated with the RSS who also made provocative comments on
01:00Aurangzeb who've demanded that the Aurangzeb tomb be removed. The RSS says look let's not
01:06focus on Aurangzeb. It's not something that's even relevant today. This is the statement that's
01:14coming from the Sangh even as in the last many weeks we've been seeing all sorts of comments
01:19over Aurangzeb that's also in fact added to this fire in Nagpur because even today you've
01:28had comments from the likes of Nitesh Rani who said bring down the Aurangzeb tomb in the manner
01:32that Babri Masjid was brought down. These are provocative comments that shouldn't be made
01:37at such a sensitive time and that's why with the RSS sending across a message it's important to
01:42put the spotlight on this. The Sangh has said Aurangzeb is not relevant today. We shouldn't
01:47be focusing on Aurangzeb, on the Mughal emperor centuries after the atrocities that he committed
01:54and most definitely shouldn't be the spark for any sort of violence. The Sangh saying very clearly
02:00that any form of violence is unhealthy for the society. Now this particular comment coming in
02:06from the RSS even as we've seen plenty of such comments by Netas linked to the RSS demanding
02:13the demolition of Aurangzeb tomb and what not. Himanshu Mishra is joining us with more details
02:18on this. Himanshu tell us what was the message of the Sangh on Aurangzeb?
02:43For the society.
03:13The Sangh's message is that Hindutva shouldn't be seen as a political agenda.
03:20And Sunil Ambedkar also wanted to say the same thing that Aurangzeb is not relevant.
03:25If you have faith in your religion or religion, then you should focus on that.
03:31This violence is also not good for the society. In a way, the Sangh is very clear on many issues
03:38especially Hinduism and the process of finding temples in mosques.
03:43Mohan Bhagwat is focused on this. He has already given a statement on this.
03:48Okay Himanshu, thank you very much for joining us with those details. The RSS is saying
03:52that look this entire Aurangzeb debate is not relevant today and therefore perhaps sending
03:57across a message to BJP Netas too who've been indulging in this whole demolish the tomb
04:02and such messages saying it's not important. Violence is something that cannot be tolerated
04:07in society right now.
