00:00The General Manager of the MRT-3 has now taken his position.

00:04Because of this, several changes will be made to the train stations.

00:14Alam, in a message sent to PTV News,

00:16the Department of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon announced

00:19that he has submitted his recommendation

00:22for the replacement of the Metro Rail Transit or MRT-3,

00:25General Manager Oscar Bongon.

00:27At the moment, the official appointment papers are being held

00:31from the President's office.

00:33Secretary Dizon explained that this is a part of the reforms

00:37to the direct agencies that are directly affected by the needs of commuters.

00:41Meanwhile, he also announced his resignation

00:45on behalf of the leadership of the MRT-3

00:47who immediately repaired the damaged escalator

00:49at MRT-3 Taft Avenue Station on March 8

00:53where 10 passengers were injured.

00:56If it can be done on the same day,

01:00on Saturday, at 10 a.m. when it was damaged,

01:04why did we postpone it until Tuesday?

01:07If I haven't called, if I haven't said anything,

01:10our workers should be working.

02:19While the last train is departing from Taft Avenue at 10.09 p.m.

02:26on when this extension will be implemented.

02:31to increase the number of trains every rush hour
