00:00More than 93 guns were confiscated and almost 100 were arrested by the PNP
00:06up to the implementation of Nationwide Comelec Gun Bansa-Bansa.
00:11From the said number, 33 of them were caught at the checkpoint,
00:1610 were arrested in the Bybas Operation, 39 in the Police Response,
00:20and 3 were caught in the search warrant.
00:24Among the arrested were civilians, security guards,
00:28AP personnel, members of the Bureau of Corrections,
00:31and an appointed government official from BARMM.
00:35According to the DILG, more than 6,000 checkpoints were laid by the PNP throughout the country
00:42since January 12, said DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia.
00:47This is part of the Strategic Measures on Peace and Safety Concerns
00:51for the 2025 National and Local Elections.
