00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. once again denied that there is no blank item in the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
00:08In his speech at the 20th National Convention of Lawyers in Cebu City,
00:14President Marcos said that he went through a thorough review and analysis of more than 4,000 pages of the 2025 National Budget.
00:24In an ambush interview with the President, he said that he is confident that the Office of Solicitor General will be able to defend their case in the 2025 National Budget in the Supreme Court.
00:54Yes, in parts we do that. And so for those of you, and up to now, I cannot find those damned blank items.
01:04We'll keep looking, we'll keep looking, but I don't, I really am convinced that they simply do not exist because it is not allowed to exist.
01:11I've read some of the, some of the filing, the complaint. Well, the Solicitor General, of course, will be the ones who will argue for the, for the government.
01:22And the, he tells me, Sgt. Maynard tells me that we are on a solid footing in terms of constitutionality.
01:32I don't know why they bothered to file that because napakahirap ng kanilang asersyon.
01:41It clearly doesn't, well anyway, it's not for me to make the argument.
01:46We'll let the Soldier make the argument before the Supreme Court and we're very confident that our case is strong.
