00:00The Cyber Crime Investigation and Coordinating Center, or CICC,

00:05has launched a campaign to raise the awareness of the public about the cyber threat of the country.

00:11In an interview with CICC Undersecretary and Executive Director Alexander Ramos in the program Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon,

00:18he encouraged the public to report to the government any incident of cybercrime such as online scams and deepfakes

00:26especially now that the country's 2025 hotline is approaching.

00:30It should also be a source of inspiration for those who are talking or receiving messages,

00:35especially if there are online links that can be used for scams.

00:38CICC's collaboration with other government agencies continues

00:43to make their programs more effective against the cyber threat.

00:49We are in the middle of finalizing our working relations with the frontline agencies

00:57such as the National Police, the military and other stakeholders

01:01on how to curtail the spread of our deepfakes

01:07so that we can properly address this and our countrymen and citizens can have a correct impression

01:15on the negative, the deepfakes that promote negativity in our upcoming election.
