00:00Hello and welcome to What's Art in Wigan this week. The Wigan Borough Dance Festival takes
00:04place from March 19th until March 22nd. The three-day celebration at the Edge Arena has
00:09become a cornerstone of the Wigan Cultural Club London, drawing together young people and their
00:14families to celebrate the joy of movement and artistic expression. More details about the
00:18event are available online. Or why not come along and enjoy a lovely afternoon of pottery painting
00:24at the Hamlet on March 21st. This is a relaxing and enjoyable workshop where you'll be able to
00:30choose from a variety of individually priced bisque items to decorate with push on glazes.
00:35Let your creativity flow and all instructions will be given along with support throughout the
00:39whole session. Upon booking you'll be required to pay a £10 booking fee and on the day you
00:44will then choose and pay for the item you wish to paint. Can you solve crime? St Michael's
00:52Dramatic Society prevents, torts, arrests and murders during night production.
00:57At a local primary school PC Foot is about to deliver a talk about drugs but while he's there
01:01events take a sinister turn when the hen master is found dead in his office. Can PC Foot solve the
01:08crime and become a detective like his famous cousin Inspector Foot of the Yard? This interactive
01:13event takes place at St Michael's Parish Hall on Saturday March 22nd at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10
01:20and available online. Newfoundland the first official artisan market of the 25th season takes
01:26place at Lonesome Social Club. There are amazing vendors and some great treats in store for all
01:32guests and the cafe area will be available serving an assortment of drinks and snacks,
01:36hot and cold. Everybody is welcome and it takes place on March 23rd from 10am.
