00:07is a free festival of beautiful illuminations highlighting Mains Park and shining a light
00:12on the borough of Wigan and Lee. It runs from Thursday November 21st until Saturday November
00:1723rd and tickets are free and are available online. Wigan and Lee Hospice is hosting its
00:23annual gala ball to help raise money for the charity. There will be music, games, auctions
00:30plus a meal and it takes place at The Edge on November 23rd and starts at 7pm. Ticket

00:42November 23rd. There will be a Santa's Grotto, stalls, games and much more and it takes place
00:48from 11am until 3pm. And finally, Wigan Frostfest takes place on Sunday November 24th. The day
00:56kicks off with Christmas markets and a fun fair on Standish Gate and Santa himself will
01:01be part of a parade from Mains Park into the town centre. The main stage will be live and
01:06entertaining crowds all afternoon before the Christmas lights are officially switched on
01:11in the town centre and the day starts from 10am.
