00:08December 6th for a festive workshop which focuses on natural locally foraged materials

00:13and foliage creating a beautiful low-cost natural wreath, a perfect winter decoration.

00:20Tickets are available online. Highfield's traditional Christmas market takes place at

00:25the local community hall on Saturday December 7th. There'll be gift stores, food and drink,

00:31Santa's Grosso, fairground rides, live music and a nativity trail and it starts at 11am.

00:38Or why not join people for a festive evening filled with joy and music at Grace Fountain

00:43Church in Wigan. Sing along to your favourite Christmas carols and enjoy heartwarming

00:49performances by local artists which takes place on Saturday December 7th from 4.45pm.

00:56And finally the Beacon Bash takes place on Sunday December 8th and starts from

01:01Apley Bridge Scout Hut. It's £15 plus booking fee to enter which includes hot pot, hot drinks

01:07and refreshments at the finish. All proceeds from the event are split between Apley Bridge
