00:00Hello and welcome to what's on in Wigan this week. Why not pay a visit to the Edge Christmas

00:07Market for a festive experience filled with handmade gifts and delicious foods. The markets

00:13are family friendly with activities for children including visits with Santa and live entertainment.

00:17It takes place on Saturday November 30th from 10am until 3pm.

00:24Standish Christmas Market will feature more than 60 stalls, live music, a fun fair, Santa's

00:29grotto and much more. It also takes place on Saturday November 30th across the town

00:35from 10am until 3pm. Or why not join the Wigan Artistic Theatre

00:40Company for an afternoon of festive fun in the Holding Cell Bar located in the Bailiff

00:45Bar with the festive themed showcase. The afternoon will bring together members of the

00:50group and patrons. Expect drag comedy sketches, films from members, solos, performances and

00:56a festive crazy raffle all finished off with members leading you in a Christmas musical

01:00karaoke. It takes place on Saturday November 30th from 3pm and it is 18 plus only.

01:08And finally Wigan and Leigh's Hospice's Light for Life service takes place on Sunday

01:14December 1st. There will be carols from a local school, music from a brass band, readings

01:20on the switch on of the Christmas tree and it starts at 4pm.
