00:00We've had a little slumber party again. Morning. Morning, Daddy. I like you. You've got Titanic
00:11on you.
00:12Titanic?
00:13On your pajamas.
00:14I feel like the Titanic.
00:15What? Like it's going down?
00:16Okay.
00:17Like you're going down?
00:18Going down.
00:22We've woke up in this hotel room because last night we were all so tired. I didn't vlog
00:27anything since we put Zosh to bed, but that was in the last vlog. This is a new vlog.
00:32So if you don't know what I mean, then you have to go and watch the last vlog. I'll explain
00:37for the people who haven't. We're in Perth because we looked after Zofia and Roman yesterday.
00:43And obviously I flew in from Brisbane and there's not much space at Andrews. So we booked
00:49a hotel room and this is our little hotel room for the night. So we got here about 1
00:54AM last night and to get here was quite a drama.
00:59In true Dot style.
01:02In true Dot style. I was driving. Dad kept getting upset with me because I wasn't staying
01:07in the left lane. Mum kept getting upset because she reckons she... How did we not know the
01:16way?
01:17You don't know the difference when you're left and you're right.
01:18Well, that's actually a true story, Mark. I actually don't know the difference. Do you
01:23have any fun facts that I can tell Chris this week?
01:27Hi, Chris.
01:28Well, you're going to be in Bunbury, so maybe...
01:31Oh, Bunbury fact. Maybe I can do Bunbury facts for him. Do you have any Bunbury facts?
01:37You might have to study a bit about Bunbury, Dot.
01:39I might have to study a bit.
01:41There is...
01:42What's the main street of Bunbury, Dot?
01:44Main street.
01:45Huh?
01:46Main street.
01:47Of Bunbury, Dot. The main street.
01:51The main street.
01:53What's the main street called?
01:54Well, it's the main street.
01:56Yeah, but what's the name of it?
01:58I don't know. What's the name of it?
02:00It's Victoria Street.
02:02Now I've just left the parents just to do a quick little gym session, and then we'll
02:08go and have some breakfast. But I said to Dad, does he want to come with me? He's like,
02:16but say hello to Jim for me.
02:20So I'm really praying that this little cafe is good. I'm taking Mum and Dad for breakfast.
02:26Well, yes. But nevertheless, do you know what? It's a beautiful walk, isn't it? When you
02:33smell... I love the mornings. Mornings and night. I hate the middle of the day, I've
02:39Middle of the day between 12 and 3, even 3.30, 4 even. That's not my favourite part of the
02:46day.
02:47I used to, my least favourite was between 2 and 5.
02:52Really?
02:53Yeah.
02:54Yeah, see I start to, about 4.30 onwards I start to really enjoy it, and in the morning
02:59I really enjoy it. Isn't that funny?
03:03So, guys, well I don't know yet. Let's have a look. It's not looking good. It's not looking
03:15like there's a sign out the front. Not all good.
03:20Just Google McDonald's or something.
03:22We're not going to McDonald's.
03:24Right, so, that was a lovely...
03:27Leave the titanium in.
03:29Did you look at the view?
03:31What view?
03:32Did you see the view?
03:34So, we were at a circus with us. We went for a walk around the block. I was like, yeah,
03:38guys, I'll take you to this coffee shop. It was closed. And then we were like, right,
03:43we'll go to South Perth for breakfast. And then I just thought, you know what? Let's
03:47just have breakfast here at the hotel. Because it is a nice breakfast. I had a look. It is
03:52nice. Then that way everyone can get what they want. And it's going to end up costing
03:59the same anyway. So, we're going to go down for breakfast at the hotel and it'll be lovely
04:06and no stress. Right? Happy days. No, well, no, because we actually got a lovely walk
04:14out of it.
04:15Well, that's true.
04:16And it's good to have a walk in the morning.
04:18Discussion about it.
04:19Yeah, we had a lovely discussion.
04:21That's all right.
04:22Yep. So, all is good. Say aye.
04:26Aye.
04:27Aye, captain.
04:28Aye, captain.
04:29Yeah, perfect. We can go here. Yeah.
04:35Happy days.
04:36Sunflower.
04:37It's a sunflower because it's a sunny day.
04:40I was going to say gerbera.
04:45It looks like a sunflower. Is it?
04:48No, it's not.
04:49No? You want a big coffee?
04:51She'd probably be right.
04:54There's your flat white again.
04:56Yeah, I had to sign for that.
04:59How was breakfast, Dad? Ten out of ten?
05:02Yeah, I'd give it nine and a half.
05:05Oh, because your coffee wasn't very hot.
05:07No, it wasn't hot coffee.
05:08Oh, shame.
05:09Had it been hotter, we would have gave it eleven.
05:11Oh, good. Reena?
05:13Ten out of ten?
05:15Ten, definitely. Ten and a half because I didn't have to cook it.
05:18Nice. So, what's the next thing on the agenda? We're going to drive home now.
05:23We're going to go back home and then do what we've got to do.
05:29That's it. So, back to Bunbury.
05:31Right, shall we do it then?
05:33We stole some apples from breakfast so that can be our car journey snack.
05:39And, yeah, I think we're ready.
05:43Oh, I see a sign for Bunbury.
05:47Bunbury.
05:52Here we go.
05:53Current situation, we have got back into Bunbury.
05:57However, my Nan hasn't been very well the last few days or so and she's in hospital.
06:04So, we've come to see my Nan, stay with her for a bit.
06:09So, I haven't technically been home yet but I'm just here seeing my Nan.
06:13We've got an update. We've got some updates.
06:16So, our poor Nan, my poor Nan and Zofia's great Nanny, isn't it?
06:24Is not very well at the moment.
06:27So, Zofia, Daddy and Mummy and Roman all drove down from Perth to come to Bunbury.
06:36So, basically, we've been at the hospital all day.
06:38As soon as we got back, we went to the hospital and then Zofia has come down to see great Nanny as well.
06:45And now, Zofia is having a sleepover with Aunty Dot, aren't you?
06:51Having some meleko?
06:54I just want to sleep.
06:59You don't want what?
07:00I want to have a really warm nap but not a night nap.
07:11You want to have a night nap?
07:13No.
07:14What kind of nap do you feel like having?
07:17Just like a nap.
07:19Do you want me to tell you a story?
07:21Once upon a time...
07:23No, but don't do it with your mouth.
07:26Girl stories.
07:28Yeah, girl stories.
07:30But...
07:31Oh, not with my mouth.
07:33You want it like an actual book.
07:36Yeah.
07:37I'll teach you. I'll tell you a nice story with my mouth.
07:42You'll love it.
07:44You can use your imagination.
07:49It's the next morning.
07:51We're actually not in our bed. We're in Mum and Dad's bed.
07:55Because she wants to look in Nanny and Pop Pop's room.
07:59Remember this picture? Look.
08:02What's my picture?
08:04Do you remember who these are?
08:06Do you remember who these people are?
08:08Dad?
08:09Yeah.
08:10Toto?
08:12No, that's not Toto. That's Uncle Buzz.
08:15When he was a baby.
08:17And who's this one?
08:19That is my tall Dad.
08:21That's your Dad as a baby.
08:23Or as a little boy.
08:25This is Uncle Buzz as a little boy.
08:28And guess who this one is? As a little girl.
08:31It's a little girl baby.
08:34But who do you think that is?
08:36Aunty Dot.
08:38Aunty Dot as a baby.
08:40Let's get out of here.
08:42You think let's get out of here?
08:44Okay, let's get out of here then.
08:54Let's do a secret home.
08:56A secret what?
08:58Home.
08:59A secret home.
09:01What does that mean?
09:03We need to build.
09:05We need to build a secret home?
09:07Yeah.
09:08A door?
09:10Yeah.
09:11We can do a little small house.
09:15A little small house? Is it going to be our secret house?
09:18Yes.
09:19But where are we going to build it?
09:21How about...
09:23I know!
09:24Look!
09:26It's a bathroom.
09:28Who do you think the person in those pictures are?
09:32That's Aunty Dot.
09:35Why is Aunty Dot with black hair?
09:38I know, Aunty Dot used to have black hair.
09:42Like my mum.
09:44Yeah, like mum.
09:50For breakfast this morning we are making gluten-free pancakes.
09:55Which just consists of gluten-free flour, eggs and some milk.
10:01Hey, Roman!
10:03Hi, Roman!
10:09Hi!
10:13You two are like matchy-matchy with those pyjamas.
10:16Amanda's got flour all over them. Why are you so dirty?
10:20We got...
10:21Did she put you in the bowl?
10:23We got similar.
10:25You're similar?
10:26Similar?
10:27Yeah, not quite the same, but similar.
10:29You're correct, Honeybutton.
10:31Similar is the right word.
10:33Whoa, that looks so good!
10:39You're so lucky!
10:41That one doesn't work.
10:43Alright, give me a score out of ten, Zosh.
10:46What are we saying?
10:48Ten?
10:49Nine.
10:50Nine?!
10:51What? Why not ten?
10:53Can I do it better? Tell me how I can do it better next time.
10:561, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10!
10:59Oh, 7, 10!
11:02Honeybun, what are you doing?
11:04You're having a princess party, so at the moment Zephia is writing invitations for our grown-up friends.
11:11And who are you going to invite to the party, mister?
11:14You're going to be the first one.
11:16Who are you going to invite?
11:18You're first one.
11:19First I need to do my list.
11:21Oh, okay. How many people have you got on your list?
11:24This many.
11:25Whoa, that is a lot of people on your list. I don't know if we've got room here for that.
11:29This is the list of things to do.
11:31Oh my God, the list of things to do is endless.
11:34You've got a lot of things to do.
11:37I've got my work cut out for me.
11:39What are you looking for, miss?
11:41Oh, no.
11:43So we're currently in Mum and Dad's room.
11:46We went up to visit Nan this morning, didn't we?
11:49We saw Great Nan, Great Nanny.
11:51I think I put the wrong one.
11:53You put the wrong one.
11:55What are you trying to do?
11:57This one.
11:59What is it?
12:01It's sparkling.
12:03Oh, and what's this meant to do?
12:05That is a magic one.
12:07And what do you think will happen with this magic rock?
12:10Chocolate every day.
12:13This is going to give us chocolate?
12:15Yeah.
12:16Do you think so?
12:19So these stones, I always buy Dad some stones.
12:23And when he wasn't well, I got him some to protect him.
12:27And he keeps them all by his bed.
12:29And Zosch loves it when she comes here because she loves these special stones.
12:33And she thinks, well, she's saying that this special stone is going to give us chocolate.
12:41Shall we see?
12:43But I think what we have to do is say the magic words, which is what?
12:47Agra-adabra.
12:49Agra-adabra.
12:51So we put it here.
12:52We're going to say agra-adabra, but we need to leave the room for a bit.
12:55And then we need to come back in.
12:57Ready?
12:59Agra-adabra.
13:01Okay, let's put it there.
13:02We need to go and we need to leave the room for a bit.
13:04Quick.
13:06Quick.
13:07We've got to leave the room.
13:08We have to count.
13:09We have to close our eyes and count to 10.
13:13Close your eyes.
13:15Count to 10.
13:20No, no, no.
13:21You've got to do slow 10.
13:22You've got to count to 10.
13:36Have you counted to 10?
13:381, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.
13:451, 2, 3.
13:47I think that's 10.
13:4910.
13:53Let's go have a look.
13:55Let's see if it worked.
13:57The tooth fairy's come.
14:01A tooth fairy.
14:03What do you think?
14:15Wow.
14:17Another one?
14:19Yes.
14:21How did they do that?
14:23It's magic.
14:25That is so cool, isn't it?
14:27See, Aunty Dot?
14:29You see?
14:31It's another day.
14:33Sophia stayed again with Aunty Dot last night.
14:41It's so much fun.
14:43It's so much fun.
14:49This is an insight to what it would be to have kids.
14:53Me and Sosha have spent the last three nights together.
14:57Haven't we?
14:59We've woke up and we're going into the caravan.
15:02Who's in the caravan?
15:04Roman, is this your bed in the caravan, Sophia?
15:07No, I've got a bed.
15:09No, you've got a bed.
15:11Roman, are you in Pop Pop's caravan?
15:14We're in Macarena.
15:16Someone needs to drive us.
15:18Who's going to drive?
15:20Sophia's about to leave
15:22to go back to Perth.
15:24Aunty Dot's going to stay here with Pop Pop.
15:26Am I going to see you again?
15:28Yes.
15:29Of course I am.
15:30Where are we right now?
15:32At Bunbury.
15:36Wow.
15:38This is perfect for you, isn't it?
15:40Yeah, and I've got all the shelves.
15:42You do, you have your own little shelf
15:44to put all your pretty things in.
15:46Isn't it perfect?
15:48Is it perfect?
15:49It's perfect for her.
15:51It's perfect?
15:52She loves it.
15:53So Dad saw this little contraption at the gym
15:56and then he went to go buy one.
15:58They wanted to charge $30 for it.
16:01He said, no, I can make one.
16:03So he's made his own little gym equipment.
16:08You're a good craftsman.
16:10Big craftsman?
16:11Yeah, very clever.
16:15Now Zosia's doing her gym work.
16:21Where are we going, Dad?
16:22We're going to see Pop at the nursery home.
16:24See Pop Buzz.
16:25So Pop Buzz is now 98?
16:29Yeah, he's 98.
16:30And when will he be 99?
16:32He'll be 99 on the 22nd of June.
16:3622nd of June, he'll be 99.
16:38Let's see if he'll make 100, eh?
16:40He might get a telegram from the King.
16:44Is that what happens?
16:46Yeah.
16:47Everyone that makes it to 100,
16:49or just people from UK?
16:51It's either the King or the Queen,
16:54whoever's on the throne at the time.
16:57Right, okay.
16:59Well, we'll see.
17:00But yeah, we're off to go and see him
17:02and then we'll go and call in and see Nan.
17:05The kids have gone.
17:07Andrew's going back to Perth.
17:09And it's, what day is it?
17:10I don't even know what day it is.
17:11Maybe he's going through his mail.
17:13What day is it?
17:14I just said Tuesday.
17:16Tuesday, the 4th of February.
17:20March.
17:21March?
17:22I don't know.
17:23March.
17:25Pop, what are you going to say to all the people in the UK?
17:29What are you going to say to them all?
17:31What are you going to tell them all in the UK?
17:34Yeah, people in the UK.
17:37Look after my granddaughter.
17:40And make sure that she gets looked after.
17:42Ah, nice one.
17:44Yeah.
17:45They'll listen to that and they'll make sure they look after me.
17:48Yeah.
17:49That's good.
17:51Doesn't he look great?
17:53Your mum was born in London, wasn't she?
17:55Yeah.
17:56So technically, you're half English.
18:00I'm half English.
18:02You're a half Pong.
18:04Yeah.
18:05Half Oz, half Pong.
18:07Oh, I can't say much about it.
18:09No, you were born and bred here though, weren't you?
18:12Yeah.
18:18He's so good, isn't he?
18:22I honestly cannot believe how good my Pop is.
18:25For 98 years old.
18:27Well, 99 this year.
18:28Honestly, he just looks incredible.
18:30So with it.
18:31Still moving about.
18:32What a legend.
18:33We have now just popped into...
18:36We're going to pop into a little cafe
18:38and get ourselves a little takeaway coffee
18:41and then go up and see Nan.
18:43And Mum will meet us there.
18:46So this is the coffee shop.
18:48It's called...
18:49What's it called, Dad?
18:50Barloo Coffee and Acai Bar.
18:54I've never actually been here before.
18:56It looks very nice.
18:58Oh, it's cute, Dad.
19:02It's super cute.
19:03Is it new?
19:07Yeah.
19:10This definitely was not open last time I was in Bunbury
19:12but it's such a cute cafe.
19:14Cheers, Dad.
19:15Cheers.
19:16Cheers.
19:23Lovely coffee.
19:25It is nice, isn't it?
19:26Good coffee.
19:27Have your mum been here?
19:28Yeah, we've been here.
19:29I think I've been here once.
19:31It's lovely.
19:32Very nice.
19:35We've come to a pit stop because
19:37in Bunbury especially
19:39there's always Kirby's is what we call it
19:42which is you pick something up from the side of the road.
19:44I'm sure we've done this on a vlog before.
19:46And Dad is the best spotter
19:48of a good Kirby
19:50and he's just found a chair.
19:54Are you sure we can take it?
19:55We can take it because there's a sign there saying
19:57toolbox stolen.
20:00Oh, hang on, let's have a look.
20:02Is that for taking?
20:06But mum's got so many cane chairs, Dad.
20:11This one's a good one.
20:12Yeah? Alright, well go on.
20:14Pop that in your boot then.
20:16Have a little look at it.
20:19Solid?
20:20Wonky.
20:21Is it a bit wonky?
20:22So we're going to bypass that one?
20:24I'll bypass it.
20:26And we're now at the hospital.
20:28What's all that red stuff in the algae?
20:30Oh, wow.
20:31Last night when we came to visit Nan
20:33there were so many kangaroos here
20:35like eight or nine of them.
20:36Alright, here we are.
20:37Back at hospital.
20:39Grocery shopping at Woolworths.
20:42If anyone doesn't know what Woolworths is
20:44it's a place where you can buy
20:46If anyone doesn't know what Woolworths is
20:48it's a grocery store.
20:50Oh, here we go.
20:51Chickpeas.
20:52That's what we want, Dad.
20:53Right, so let's get
20:55one...
20:56Chickpeas?
20:57Two cans of chickpeas
20:58and that will be it.
20:59Okay.
21:00I think we're ready, Dad.
21:01Is that it, Donny?
21:02That's it, Dad.
21:03Alright, okay.
21:04Let's go.
21:05We've got what we needed.
21:06Show them what we got.
21:08We've got a few things here.
21:10We've got Greek salad.
21:11Greek salad?
21:13Oh, you're not showing them.
21:14There you go.
21:15Oh, there you go.
21:17Greek style...
21:18Yogurt.
21:19Not a salad.
21:21We've got some chickpeas.
21:23What else have we got?
21:25We've got some parmesan cheese,
21:27banana, cauliflower
21:29because I'm on...
21:32I'm on dinner duty tonight.
21:34Good combination.
21:35Yes.
21:36Shall we?
21:37Yeah.
21:38There's tomato sauce on top.
21:39Yep.
21:40No, that's terrible.
21:41Then we've got everything.
21:43Shall we go?
21:44Alright.
21:45That's it.
21:46Bye for now.
21:47Just a little update for you all.
21:50My Nan is still in hospital.
21:52So we're kind of going to and from the hospital.
21:55However, it's nice to have a little break from the hospital.
21:57So I'm taking Dad to some charity shops.
22:01First one being The Salvation Army.
22:03Who remembers in Summer Jo's vlogs,
22:06Dad's squeaky shoe?
22:12They've made a comeback.
22:13He's washed them up.
22:14They actually look nice on you, Dad.
22:15He's got his squeaky shoes on.
22:17He's ready for action.
22:20Looks like they're shutting up shop here.
22:22Humble jumble.
22:23We love it.
22:2420 cents per item, Dad.
22:27Crazy.
22:28What did we get there, Marky?
22:32A suitcase for when I return to the UK.
22:35That's it, you see?
22:36Suitcase for when you come to the UK.
22:38And how much did we pay for that one?
22:41Two dollars.
22:42Two dollars.
22:43That's unheard of.
22:44Two dollars.
22:45Two dollars.
22:46That's like a pound.
22:48Two dollars.
22:49Two dollars.
22:50And look how good it is.
22:52It's an American tourism one as well.
22:54Might have some money in it.
22:56Oh, we never know.
22:58We'd better check it.
22:59Better check it.
23:02That suits you.
23:03I like it.
23:04Nice little Australia hat.
23:06You got a new tie?
23:09We're now in the Vinnie's
23:11and the lady that works here,
23:13she recognised Dad, didn't she?
23:15She went,
23:16are you Mark Buswell from YouTube?
23:20She knew you, Dad.
23:21Famous.
23:25What do you reckon?
23:26It does look good.
23:27It does look good, doesn't it?
23:32Little dollies.
23:34The bride and groom dolly.
23:36What do you reckon?
23:39I don't know.
23:48Oh, golly gosh.
23:51There's our biggest building in Bunbury.
23:54What do we call it, Dad?
23:56The big mouse.
23:59The milk carton or the big mouse.
24:01And our little street of Bunbury.
24:03It's quite a cute little town, isn't it?
24:05I like that little arcade.
24:07I think that arcade's cute.
24:09He didn't buy the hat.
24:10He did not buy the hat.
24:12He opted against the hat, didn't you, Dad?
24:15He didn't go for it.
24:16We're back at the hospital again.
24:18Another little visit to Nan
24:20before going home to sort dinner out.
24:24What's happened?
24:25I think we realised why it was $2, didn't we, Dad?
24:28It's alright for keeping storage in it.
24:30Yeah.
24:31There was a big crack in the bottom.
24:33Look, the wheels have probably seen better days.
24:36But...
24:38I think you've fixed it.
24:39No, I haven't.
24:41No?
24:42The tyre cost $2.
24:51I'm just out for a run.
24:53And holy f***.
24:55There are so many kangaroos here.
24:57Oh, my word.
25:00Look at them all.
25:02Just like...
25:04Here in the jungle, they're like little babies as well.
25:07Oh, my word.
25:09Oh.
25:13Holy gosh.
25:15I've never, like, seen so many in one place kind of this time of day.
25:24Kangaroos.
25:25Kangaroos.
25:31It's another morning in Western Australia, Bunbury.
25:35Good old Bunbury.
25:36Good old Bunbury.
25:37Dad did the cheeky thing, you know what he did?
25:40He's been warned.
25:41I like the UK.
25:43I like Italy.
25:46But I love home.
25:48You love home.
25:50Dad did the cheeky thing this morning.
25:52He opened that door so that I could wake up.
25:55Huh?
25:56Huh?
25:57Huh?
25:58You know what I'm saying.
25:59So near my room, because it's quite dark in my room,
26:02I've been sleeping in a bit.
26:04And he told me yesterday,
26:05you haven't woke up with me yet, Dot.
26:07Got my South Africa cups.
26:10And I said, oh, sorry, my room gets so dark,
26:13I don't know when to wake up.
26:15So this morning, the door next to it, he opened and shut it.
26:19And he walked past my room saying, you want a coffee, Dot?
26:23Anyway, it worked, I'm awake.
26:25Let's go have a coffee.
26:27What we do, we get our coffee,
26:28and we come sit out in the garden.
26:31And it is beautiful.
26:33So beautiful out here.
26:36Mum's garden is just,
26:38I say mum's, it's mum and dad's.
26:40It's beautiful.
26:41Have a look.
26:45So nice out here.
26:48Oh, yeah.
26:53Apparently yesterday,
26:54there was kangaroos jumping down the street as well.
27:01Oh, he's turned on his water feature.
27:04Porridge with like cocoa,
27:08turmeric.
27:10I put some ashwagandha in there.
27:13Cardamom, cinnamon.
27:15And then obviously we've topped it with fruits.
27:18Gorgeous.
27:20I'll put a tiny bit of the honey.
27:22Nice?
27:23It's good, it's beautiful.
27:25You go enjoy.
27:27Bon appetito.
27:28Sit on this one.
27:30Enjoy my cafe view.
27:32It's a better view than you'll get in any cafe, isn't it?
27:34Yeah.
27:37So before going back up to the hospital,
27:40I'm going to go for a quick little ride
27:43to the beach.
27:45Just have a little swim in the beach
27:48and then head back and we'll head to the hospital.
27:51But dad found this bike.
27:54It's such a cute little bike.
27:56I feel like it fits me perfectly.
27:58It's a cute bike.
27:59I love it.
28:00So I'm going to go for a quick little bike ride
28:02just to the beach.
28:04Quick dip and then come back
28:06and we'll go to the hospital.
28:08But isn't she a beauty?
28:09Such a little beauty.
28:11I love her.
28:14I've made it to the beach
28:16and I had to stop in my tracks
28:18because these things on the ground
28:20look like proper snakes.
28:22And I had my glasses on
28:24and I was like, what the hell is that?
28:26These things from the trees,
28:28they genuinely look like big snakes
28:30on the floor when you're riding.
28:32Can you hear the crash of the ocean?
28:34A little bit through there.
28:36The bike is brilliant.
28:38I'm just nervous
28:40to leave her at the top of the...
28:42like basically our beach
28:44has a massive deck to go down.
28:46I'm just scared to leave her on the top of it
28:48when anyone wants to steal it.
28:50I'm not going to be long, but bike,
28:52if anyone steals you,
28:54I'm going to set up a camera
28:57and whoever it is, I'll get you.
29:00So let's just go down to the beach
29:02for a quick dip and then back home again.
29:05Isn't it just so beautiful?
29:08This is one of the best beaches
29:11I reckon in the world.
29:13The good thing is
29:15it feels very trustworthy here,
29:17like people genuinely leave their
29:19belongings at the bottom of this step.
29:22So I do feel like
29:24it's pretty genuine.
29:25Look at how much beach there is.
29:28It's mad.
29:29It's mad that it's all mine.
29:33Hello, everyone.
29:34I thought I'd just give you a little update
29:36but my vlog is very, very all over the place.
29:39I haven't really had
29:41any form of structure whatsoever in my vlog.
29:44Hence because my nan has really not been well.
29:47She's now in palliative care
29:50and we've been going up to the hospital
29:54quite a bit.
29:55She's now unresponsive.
29:57Yesterday, she was kind of
29:59talking back to people.
30:00Today, she's completely unresponsive.
30:03It's been, you know,
30:05one of those things where
30:07obviously, I'm really happy I got to
30:09speak with her another time in person.
30:11I got to hold her hand.
30:13I got to do so much that I probably wouldn't have,
30:15that I definitely wouldn't have been able to do
30:17if I was in the UK.
30:18So I feel very grateful that
30:21actually I'm here for this moment.
30:23Not only just for my nan but for
30:25the family around.
30:27And yeah, so right now
30:29me and dad are going to go.
30:31It's quite early still.
30:32You know, we woke up very early.
30:33We've not had the best night's sleep.
30:35Mum's obviously been waking up in the middle of the night,
30:37checking.
30:38And so we're up very early this morning.
30:40So me and dad is going to go for a nice little bike ride
30:42and then we'll get ready and go up and see nan again
30:44at the hospital.
30:46So here's one bike.
30:48And then dad's got the other one.
30:50I said to dad,
30:51you should ride the red one
30:52because the red one is actually
30:54such a better bike than this one.
30:56Got me helmet.
30:58Just double checking there's no spiders in it.
31:00Dad's got his on.
31:01Little red bike with his basket.
31:06This one makes a little noise.
31:10This one's got a noise to it, dad.
31:15Off we go.
31:17Suture with the basket, dad.
31:19Suture.
31:23And just an FYI,
31:25the right brakes don't work on this bike.
31:28I went to go use them before morning.
31:31Went to go use the right brake
31:33and it failed.
31:35So yeah, that wasn't good.
31:37But the left brake still works, so that's great.
31:41Dad's going very fast.
31:43But I'm just struggling to keep up with him.
31:46This is our view
31:48of the lake.
31:50It's beautiful, nice and shady.
31:53Very nice.
31:58You alright, dad?
32:03Morning!
32:10Getting use out of that equipment.
32:14And we're on the home straight
32:16and dad is going for it.
32:18He's giving it beans.
32:2025 or less, Mark?
32:2225 or less?
32:24Dad and I have
32:26washed up
32:28and we are
32:30on our way to the hospital.
32:32However, we are going to stop
32:34and grab a coffee along the way.
32:36And there's also a little charity shop
32:38down the road from where we live.
32:40And I usually
32:42go to it all the time, actually.
32:44I haven't been to this one yet, this time around.
32:46So we thought
32:48we'd just crawl in there,
32:50have a little look,
32:52and
32:54see what they've got.
32:56Huh?
32:58This fruit.
33:00Oh, that's so nice.
33:02That's so lovely that they do that.
33:06This is one of my favourite ones.
33:08It's just full of
33:10stuff.
33:12Lots of stuff.
33:18They've got some
33:20Dad likes
33:22looking at the jewellery.
33:24You like looking at the jewellery, don't you?
33:26Yeah.
33:28Look, Dad,
33:30it's me.
33:32It's me.
33:34Yeah, she does.
33:38We're back at my Pop's place
33:40and he just told me this.
33:42Pop, go on, tell him what you
33:44just said. A milo a day
33:46keeps the doctor away.
33:48That's it. He's going to have a milo now.
33:50So he's
33:52asked for a tea or coffee
33:54but he said, no, a milo. I said, is that your secret?
33:56It's his secret to being
33:5898.
34:00Here we go.
34:02Oh, add a bit of cake. Spoiled Pop.
34:08Spoiled.
34:10No, you enjoy.
34:12You enjoy yourself.
34:14All right.
34:16There you go, Dad.
34:18There you go.
34:24Pop's view.
34:26Got the view of the beach.
34:28Which is very nice.
34:36This is the coffee shop for today.
34:38Cheers, Dad.
34:40Flat white, long black.
34:42What's this one called, Dad, in Bunbury?
34:44It's called Little Spencer.
34:48Not Martin Spencer.
34:50Little Spencer.
34:52It's actually nice. I've never been to this coffee shop
34:54before. It is
34:56pretty much in the centre of Bunbury.
34:58There's a little park here.
35:00It's a nice little...
35:02It's in the main street.
35:04Which we discovered is called...
35:06No, what's the main street
35:08called? Victoria Street.
35:10You gave me a quiz on it.
35:12We're going to have our coffee
35:14and then go over and see Nan.
35:16Yeah, a cute little coffee
35:18shop.
35:20What's their food like? Is their food good?
35:22I really haven't had much food here.
35:24No, you haven't had much food here? Just the coffee?
35:26The coffee is actually a nice
35:28tasting coffee. I'll give it that.
35:32Cheers.
35:34Back at the hospital.
35:36Let's go see how Nan's
35:38doing, eh? Bought Mum
35:40some snacks.
35:42A little snack pack because she's been here
35:44since this morning, bless her.
35:48Bring her a little snack.
35:50See how Nan's doing.
35:52See how everyone else is going.
35:56Morning everyone.
35:58I am going to leave
36:00this vlog here. I'm going to
36:02end it now. Unfortunately,
36:04on a sad note,
36:06my Nan passed away this morning.
36:08I'm at the hospital
36:10now to be with everybody.
36:12Mum and Dad have already arrived.
36:14They're in there.
36:16It's very
36:18sad, but like I said before,
36:20it's so nice that I get to be here
36:22for that. I think sometimes
36:24my biggest fear is
36:26being at home in the UK
36:28and something happening and me not
36:30being able to get there.
36:34In a way, it's quite
36:36beautiful that I am here
36:38to be with everyone, to support.
36:40I got to say goodbye
36:42to Nan.
36:44I have to see it
36:46in a positive way, even
36:48though it's awful.
36:50She had a great life and now we're going
36:52to go and remember all those amazing
36:54memories that we have because
36:56we've been sat around her bed for the last
36:58however many nights just
37:00talking about memories
37:02and things that we all remember that she used to do
37:04and say.
37:06It's been
37:08really nice
37:10to have those moments.
37:12I just wanted to end the vlog with that.
37:14Maybe I'll add a few little clips
37:16of Nan because she did make
37:18appearances in the vlog.
37:20Some of you may know her as Nanny Norena.
37:22She loved Bobby.
37:24Sorry to Chris last year.
37:26She loved Chris too. She was so proud.
37:28She actually got up
37:30at I think it was
37:322am in the morning, her and Uncle Joe
37:34and watched me live.
37:36She streamed it live from Australia
37:38to watch the final.
37:40She was very, very proud.
37:42She loves EastEnders.
37:44She absolutely loved Bobby.
37:46I actually said to her in the hospital bed a couple of days ago
37:48and I said, who's your favourite EastEnder Nan?
37:50She said, I like that
37:52Freddie, which is Bobby on EastEnders.
37:54She loved that.
37:56I'm going
37:58to go in and be with the family.
38:00Love to everyone.
38:02This is your sign to go and call your Nan
38:04and just go check in on her
38:06because you never know how long you'll have with her.
38:08If you haven't got your Nan, I send you all my love.
38:12Thanks guys.
38:14See you later.
38:16Cuties.
38:18Look at you.
38:20You've got competition
38:22there Nan with your little scooter.
38:26Well Pop's got a number
38:28on his.
38:36Very cute.
38:40Extra visit from Nan today.
38:42Didn't we Nan?
38:44We only meant to see each other on Sunday
38:46but this was a nice little
38:48surprise.
38:50See you again on Sunday.
38:52Lovely, looking forward to it.
38:54Yes.
39:18Good morning.
39:20Good morning.
39:26Look at you two.
39:28Nan are looking gorgeous.
39:32Always Nan.
39:34Is she having a little lolly snake?
39:38Bye.
39:42Bye.
39:50Bye.
