00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development is already providing 63 million pesos of humanitarian assistance to the victims of Sheer Line.

00:10This includes our fellow countrymen in Region 2, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Caraga, and Eastern Visayas.

00:19Yesterday afternoon in Bagong, Philippines, DSWD Spokesperson, Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao said

00:26the assistance will not only include family food packs and non-food items, but also financial assistance.

00:32Meanwhile, she is also continuing to provide assistance to our fellow countrymen

00:36who are still staying at the evacuation center in the middle of the Alboroto of Volcan Candaon

00:42where they have already received 110 million pesos of humanitarian assistance.

00:51For internally displaced persons who are located or are taking temporary shelter in evacuation centers,

01:00we are also providing assistance, especially in securing the vulnerable sectors,

01:10especially the women, the children, the elderly, the persons with disabilities.

01:14We are also providing what they need.

01:20We are also continuing to provide additional family food packs to the affected local government units

01:29to sustain and ensure that our support to disaster-affected communities will not be hampered.
