00:00NDRRMC, or National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council,
00:06promised to continue to provide assistance to those affected by the eruption of Vulcan Canlaon,
00:12in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:16As of now, the assistance amounted to Php 29 million,
00:20which was given to almost 10,000 families.
00:23According to NDRRMC,
00:25more than Php 11 million was given to Central Visayas,
00:30while more than Php 17 million was given to Western Visayas.
00:34Aside from the Family Food Packs,
00:36the assistance was also given to Hygiene Kits, Sleeping Kits, Modular Tents, and Face Masks.
00:43A large portion of those affected were in evacuation centers.
00:47But even to those who are related to their loved ones outside the danger zone,
00:52assistance was also provided.
