00:00The Department of Social Welfare and Development, DSWD, has given more than P87 million pesos of humanitarian assistance to those affected by the Volcano Canlaon eruption in the Mike Abilay program.
00:16According to the DSWD Assistant Secretary Spokesperson Irene Dumlao, they continue to deliver family food packs or non-food items.
00:26The students in the evacuation center in Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental are also being cared for by the people of Cagawaran to continue their blended learning.
00:37In total, there are more than 20 open evacuation centers in the area where more than 3,000 families are being evacuated.
00:46The DSWD also assured that they are still prepared to respond to all the affected activities of the volcano.
00:53And while there is still not enough calamity hitting the country, Asik Dumlao said, they halted production and preposition of food and non-food items in their warehouses.
