00:00Talking because you're going on Love Triangle. Yeah. So can we start by me asking you how
00:12would you describe what Love Triangle is for someone who doesn't know? Well it's basically
00:18six pickers all looking for love and they have to get to know two suitors via text message
00:28for the first couple of days and choose who they basically want to pursue things with
00:33and move in with effectively and obviously who they find a better connection with but
00:37you can't obviously know anything about their appearance, the way that they look, the age,
00:43anything like that. You can only just get to know them just on like a text level like
00:47just asking like generic things like what are you into, what's your interest and then
00:51obviously you move in with that person and obviously you see if there's a connection
00:57there and then the other person then gets involved as well and we all end up living
01:02together and it's very chaotic. So why did you sign up for it? I'll be honest, I'm probably
01:11the only person out of my friendship group that's single. Like I literally come home
01:16on a night time, I'm putting Netflix on, I'm making a meal for one, I'm paying for a Chinese
01:20all by myself. I'm like I should be sharing this with somebody like sharing the bill,
01:26they're expensive and no I just want to find love at the end of the day and I just feel
01:32like now's my time, do you know what I mean? Like I've been single five years so it's a
01:36long time so what better way to throw yourself onto a reality show to try and find love.
01:43And was it what you expected? No, no it wasn't. In a good way, in a good way but it was a
01:52lot more intense than what I thought, in fact very intense. I'm not a very emotional person
01:58like outside of the programme so in day to day life I don't really speak about my feelings and
02:03emotions, I kind of brush them under the carpet a little bit. I'm a bit of a closed book, I'm very
02:07open in certain ways but when it comes to my feelings and my emotions and being vulnerable
02:11I am not and on that programme like you literally get to see every single side of me, the good,
02:16the bad, the ugly and yeah it was just, it was a lot like I was just, I was taken back by it but
02:25it was the best thing that I ever did. And how do you think people at home, your friends and
02:30family will react to the show? Well to be honest I've done reality TV before in the past, I went
02:35on Big Brother in 2016 and I was a lot younger there, now I don't think I was in the right
02:40headspace for a reality show then. I think I've grown and matured a lot, I'm still very immature
02:45but like I did stuff on that programme that I wouldn't say I was best proud of, like I did
02:53intimate things on TV which was like put out there to millions of people and it's always going to be
02:58out there, that was something that I kind of regret now looking back. So I kind of said to myself that
03:04I wasn't really going to do a reality show again, not because I had a bad experience on Big Brother
03:09because I didn't and I don't want to make it about that show but I'm saying I learned a lot from that
03:13and I thought do I want to do this again and what about if like I make an idiot of myself but I
03:17thought you know what, I'm a lot more mature now, I'm in the right headspace and I genuinely am
03:22looking to find love so I just thought you know what, just do it, like this opportunity is a once
03:27in a lifetime and I'm so glad that I did it, it was the best thing, it was better than any other
03:31experience I've ever had. And why should people from Lancashire tune in to watch it? Oh god,
03:38why should they watch the show? Well I could think of plenty of reasons not to because my
03:44arguments are going to be quite bad but trust me now, there's so much that's involved in this
03:49programme, like you will see so many sides to different people, myself included. When I say
03:56I don't think you're going to have seen a more chaotic reality show, like I am a massive reality
04:02TV fan, I watch every single reality show, I'm obsessed with them all but living this,
04:07I just know that this is going to be probably one of the most fiery, explosive, most biggest
04:14rollercoaster journeys that you'll ever watch, everyone will be hooked. For any reality TV
04:19junkies, this is going to be TV gold. That's a big sell, Ryan.
