00:00The prefectures are committed to the issue of the protection of public order and the prevention of crimes.
00:10In particular, on the issue of prevention and the contrast to any form of violence of this kind,
00:16we are committed in the first person, first of all, to the protection of the victims.
00:20So, already following the presentation of a complaint for one of the crimes that are part of the Red Code,
00:26we act immediately, together with the top authorities,
00:30to provide adequate measures of vigilance in favor of the victims,
00:35regardless of any criminal procedure that should be initiated, in the light of maximum prevention.
00:41We are on the side of the local administrators, with the funding that is agreed every year by the Ministry of the Interior.
00:48So, we try to implement the use of video surveillance systems, which are a fundamental focus on the city,
00:54especially to identify those responsible for serious criminal actions that are part of the violence of this kind.
01:00We remember that violence of this kind is not only mistreatment in the family, acts of persecution,
01:04but also so-called spying, threats, car fires, private violence.
01:10So, we are very committed to this and to many other issues.
01:14And also, with the forces of the order, we have constant patrolling in favor of the victims.
01:19We currently have 580 surveillance devices active.
