Minister Nadendla Manohar About PDS Rice : చౌక బియ్యం నిల్వ ఉంచే బఫర్ గోదాముల్లో ఆర్టిఫీషియల్ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ తో కూడిన కెమెరాలు బిగించబోతున్నామని ఏపీ పౌరసరఫరాల శాఖ మంత్రి నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ స్పష్టం చేశారు. పీడీఎస్ బియ్యంపై శాసనసభ ప్రశ్నోత్తరాల సమయంలో గోరంట్ల బుచ్చయ్యచౌదరి, కొండబాబు, కూన రవికుమార్‌, వెనిగండ్ల రాము తదితర సభ్యులు అడిగిన ప్రశ్నలకు నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ సమాధానమిచ్చారు. పీడీఎస్ బియ్యం అక్రమ రవాణా నిరోధించేలా కాకినాడ యాంకరేజ్ పోర్టు వద్ద చెక్ పోస్టులు ఏర్పాటు చేశామని ఎన్ఓసీ ఇచ్చిన తర్వాతే సదరు లారీలు నౌకలో లోడ్ చేసేలా కార్యాచరణ చేపట్టామన్నారు. వీటితో పాటు సముద్రంలోకి వెళ్లే బార్జ్లను కూడా తనిఖీలు చేస్తున్నట్టు మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు.

01:07Out of the 80,000 metric tons, 40,000 metric tons are sent to the millers for custom milled rice.
01:13Out of the 40,000 metric tons, 30,000 to 32,000 metric tons are used for PDS rice.
01:20The state government gives the balance stock to the Food Corporation of India.
01:24Wherever there is use in the country, the millers change it.
01:28This wonderful program is being carried out in that way.
01:31Some people want it for their selfishness and for their own benefit.
01:35It has caused a huge loss.
01:37In the last five years, we have produced 76,854 metric tons of rice.
01:45In just six months, we have produced 60,000 metric tons of rice.
01:52Almost 78% of what the previous government has done in the past five years, we have done in the past six months.
02:00For the first time in the state, under section 7 of the Essential Commodities Act, we are amending cases.
02:07We are booking criminal cases.
02:09Under section 316, 318, and 319 of the PD Act, we got the approval for the first time.
02:23But the PDS rice smuggling is now part of an organized network.
02:29As repeated offenders, we have brought about changes in the law.
