We have a very special guest on this week's episode of All Wednesday, with Owls skipper, Barry Bannan, becoming the first current player to grace our screens. He talks about his Sheffield Wednesday legacy, why he never wanted to leave, and the work he's doing with the Sheffield Children's Hospital.
Transcript
00:00Yeah, well, when you do these things, you don't know what to expect.
00:03So as soon as we put the tickets on sale,
00:08then you start to realise, well, it's like they sold out straight away.
00:12So that was the first thing that kind of surprised me
00:16and Rob at the Children's Hospital.
00:18We didn't think it was going to go as fast as it did.
00:23But looking back at it, it was an amazing night.
00:26And because it went so well, it's why we've
00:30we probably make it a thing that we do probably every year now going forward.
00:37We didn't know about this one as well.
00:40Obviously, you have people going to the last one
00:43and you might think that might be the end of it.
00:45But obviously, we did the same again this year and they sold out just as fast.
00:50So I think there's some people coming that came to the last one as well,
00:54which is a bit crazy.
00:56But no, I think it'll be a bit different,
00:58but probably somewhere along the same lines because it went so well.
01:04There'll be things that will get added that weren't on the last year's,
01:07but obviously different players and things like that.
01:10But I'm looking forward to it again.
01:11And like you said, it's a thing that I hold dear to my heart.
01:15And at the end of the day, it's all for a good cause
01:18and raising money for kids who are unhealthy and in bad positions really.
