It's almost Christmas, so in the spirit of good cheer we popped to Fagan's for a pint with number one chasing musician - and long-suffering Sheffield Wednesday fan - Jon 'Reverend' McClure. He chats on 'All Wednesday' about his Owls hope, loving Barry Bannan, and what the future holds

00:00Did you feel, because for me it felt like there was a shift, sort of as soon as Danny came in.
00:06Absolutely, yeah.
00:07Last October it was almost just like a breath of fresh air and that momentum, it felt like that helped the city in general.
00:15Well I think his track record, in fact he's been at Bayern and National Team and whatever and he's so well regarded by people like Antiflick and whoever else.
00:23He's a serious guy and obviously word gets out doesn't it, so we talked to Barry a little bit and Barry was like, he's the best manager I've ever had at Bayern.
00:31They weren't saying one of, it was the same with Josh, they're not saying he's one of the best we've had, they were saying he's the best we've had.
00:38He's the one, yeah. And I think he's the sort of guy, this is the frustration sort of behind the scenes where you think if you give him £5 million, Roland said do what you want with it, he'd get us promoted, no doubt about it.
00:49So I think we're in much better hands, my worry is that some weird bit of money is going to come in and think he's great and nab him.
00:58Yeah, I mean that is always the problem, when you're a club like where Wensley are and have been for a long time, when someone is that little bit better and they do stick out.
01:10And I think that with Danny, like you say, it always felt like a bit of a coup because of who he's worked with before.
