00:00So, first question was, have you got a Christmas wish for Sheffield Wednesday?
00:05A Christmas wish? I have actually. Hopefully we can win a boxing day and start climbing up the
00:13table. We're in a nice position at the minute, but I wish we'd be able to win a boxing day,
00:17because it means leaving your family on Christmas Day.
00:22And what do you love about Sheffield?
00:24I don't live in Sheffield anymore. I've moved to Nottingham, but I've obviously lived here for
00:28a couple of years, and I've been here at this club for 10 years now.
00:33Just how passionate they are about their football, and how it's a working-class city.
00:37That's the way I was brought up as a kid back in Scotland, so I can kind of connect with that,
00:43and it's got really nice coffee places.
00:49And what's special about Owls fans?
00:51Just how passionate they are about their club. That's what's really touched me since I've come
00:57here. It's all about winning, no matter what league you're in, no matter what team you play
01:02against these fans, expect to win games. I've grown up hating losing, and I've come to this
01:09club and it's the same, they hate losing. It's all about winning, and I've really enjoyed how
01:14passionate the fans have been. Brilliant.
01:17And just speaking a little bit about the campaign that you're involved with,
01:21why should Wednesday fans learn CPR?
01:25We say it's not just for saving people in stadiums, or walking down the street and being
01:33able to save someone on the street. Like Ellie and Dennis have seen here, they were at home
01:39watching a football match, and her dad's had a cardiac arrest, and she's been able to save
01:44his life, which I'm sure if it was any of your Wednesday fan in there, dad had a cardiac arrest,
01:51and you weren't able to do it, it would be something that you'd look back at and regret.
01:56So it's just being able to have that power of being able to revive people in your own household.
02:03So don't regret it, and get it done. And like I said, it's 15 minutes of your time over this
02:09Christmas period that you've got loads of time in, so it's just to be able to do it really,
02:14because you never know, especially when I think, I'm not sure of the numbers, but we've seen loads
02:20of cases on the pitch this season where games have been stopped because people have been having
02:23cardiac arrests in crowds. So it seems to be at the minute, I might be wrong, that it is rising
02:29the numbers who are having cardiac arrests. So it's just something that I think everybody should
02:35do. As I said, it's not a lot of time, get it done, and hopefully you never have to use it,
02:39but if you do, you've got the power to do it.
