Items and e-waste seized in the recent Op Hazard operations will be used as evidence in legal proceedings, the Department of Environment (DOE) confirmed.

During a press conference on Thursday (Feb 20), DOE Director-General Datuk Wan Abdul Latiff Wan Jaffar clarified that only premises licensed by the department and legitimately engaged in recycling would be eligible to participate in the auction of seized materials.
