00:00In preparing for today's draft, Kesumah has gone to all over the country for at least 11 sessions related to NGOs,
00:20workers' representatives, employees' representatives, representatives of other government departments and also stakeholders.
00:27We had a dialogue with 1,800 participants.
00:33Today, we have had a dialogue with almost 3,000 participants.
00:41That's one.
00:43To get the impact, we have to listen.
00:45Because there is one side who wants to wear a green shirt and want to read this.
00:49The other side wants to wear a blue shirt and want to read that.
00:51So we want to listen to everyone's opinion.
00:53Then, we open it for people who don't have time to meet the minister today.
01:01We open it online so that other people who don't have time to come down to our dialogue,
01:08because they are busy making riders,
01:10it's okay.
01:11We can give feedback online.
01:16And online, we get at least 300 feedback.
01:21So, I think this whole process is quite satisfying because we have met as many people as we need to get feedback.
01:31We all fight so that in the current parliamentary session,
01:38if everyone agrees that everything has been approved,
01:43then, after we have waited for 2019, 2020, 2021, and so on,
01:50finally, we have the latest draft for the gate workers.
02:04So, if everyone is okay,
02:07if the rules are not broken,
02:09I will bring it to the Cabinet after I discuss it with you
02:13to get the final approval of this law.
02:17Then, I can hold a meeting in Parliament in maybe two weeks from now.
02:22And if we pass this law,
02:25Malaysia will be among the first countries in the world,
02:30at least 15 countries in the world,
02:33to have a gate workers protection agreement.
02:36So, I ask for cooperation from all parties.
02:40Riders, employers, important parties,
02:45my colleagues in the ministries,
02:47all of them are all out, 100%.
02:49My colleagues in other ministries,
02:51and finally, of course, the honorable Dato' Sri Timah Lamenteri.
02:54We also hope that MPs, regardless of party,
02:58all Malaysians can fight together and realize
03:03that this new law creates history.
03:06There is one law, the gate workers law,
03:09to protect our country's gate industry sector.
03:12That's all. Thank you.
03:13Thank you, Mr. Speaker, to the four ministers.
03:17If I win,
03:19if I win this time,
03:21in the last two weeks,
03:24for this RU,
03:26our main component for social security
03:30is to include the market for silk.
03:34That is a component in this RU,
03:37in terms of social security.
03:39In terms of KWSP,
03:41of course, I cannot represent KWSU
03:44to give their statement,
03:46but if they want to include this component,
03:49actually, we will pass it,
03:51so that social security for this gate workers
03:54is more complete.
03:56But if they want to include KWSP,
03:58they have to pass the KWSP document.
04:01Okay?
04:02It can be a future plan, right?
04:03It can be a future plan.
04:04Of course, a lot of feedback that we get,
04:07the feedback that the MPs get,
04:09they hope that there can be a social security scheme
04:13that is more comprehensive.
