00:28Hong takes office after his predecessor resigned over a workplace bullying scandal that led
00:33to a ministry employee's suicide. He specifically abolished several toxic practices at the agency
00:40where the employee worked, such as making workers run laps. Hong has also pledged to
00:45advocate for additional staff to ease labor shortages and to investigate accusations of
00:50corruption by former officials.
