00:00We hope you're sitting down, because what you're about to hear certainly isn't your
00:04regular dose of celebrity gossip. First things first, did you know that Mila Kunis was once
00:08sued by a supposed childhood friend? And the reason involves a chicken, of all things?
00:13Impossible, yes, but it's true.
00:15Before we dive into the scandal, here's a little bit of important background for you.
00:19The superstar actress famously wed Ashton Kutcher back in 2015,
00:23with whom she shares two children. As for her life before becoming a Hollywood star?
00:27Well, when she was seven years old, Kunis immigrated from Ukraine to Los Angeles,
00:30California with her family. Don't worry, you'll see why this little tidbit is important in one
00:34hot minute. Kunis began taking acting lessons as a child, and they clearly paid off big time down
00:39the line. She starred as Jackie in the sitcom That 70s Show and voiced the character of Meg
00:44on Family Guy. Kunis has also enjoyed plenty of memorable moments on the silver screen.
00:48She starred alongside Natalie Portman in Black Swan, and who could forget her star
00:51turn in Forgetting Sarah Marshall? Anyway, before Kunis went ahead and conquered Hollywood,
00:56she allegedly ruffled quite a few feathers back in her home country.
00:59In a highly bizarre 2015 lawsuit, a woman named Christina Caro accused the star of
01:03stealing her beloved pet chicken back in the day. According to Page Six, the lawsuit claimed that
01:07a very young Kunis used to visit Caro's house and giddily play with her fine-feathered friend,
01:12whose name was Improbably Doggy. Caro's lawsuit alleged that Kunis ended up selfishly snatching
01:16the bird for keeps, basically accusing her of being a garden-variety chicken thief. As TMZ
01:21reports, Caro claimed Kunis told her in no uncertain terms,
01:24"[Christina, you can have any other chicken as a pet. You have a whole chicken farm."
01:28The lawsuit also claimed that Caro was owed $5,000 for all the resulting trauma and numerous
01:32counseling fees. So yeah, all in all, this is a pretty wild story, and we imagine you're probably
01:38wondering aloud how Kunis reacted to all this. Well, not surprisingly, she found the saga rather
01:42hilarious. In a 2015 video posted to social media, Kunis and Ashton Kutcher made absolutely
01:48no attempt to contain their laughter. With Kunis' deadpanning,
01:50I was devastated. I was weeping. I was dumbfounded. I was like,
01:54which chicken did I steal? In the video, Kunis claimed she was never physically served with the
01:58lawsuit. What's more, she seemed to suggest the whole drama was part of some publicity
02:02stunt to get Kunis to watch one of Caro's music videos. Interesting theory, but does this really
02:07look like an aspiring pop star who's starved for attention? Okay, yes, maybe it does.
02:12Taking to the defunct social app Meerkat, Kunis quipped,
02:15I would like to launch a counter $5,000 lawsuit for making me sit there and watch your music video
02:22shamelessly. Kunis also claimed that,
02:24My body hurts. My eyes hurt. They're burning. That requires money.
02:28Meanwhile, Kutcher pointedly noted that,
02:30The girl has a music video coming out at the same time she's suing you for $5,000.
02:34According to AV Club, Caro filed this loosey-goosey lawsuit while moving to Los Angeles
02:38and releasing her music video for the ill-advised song,
02:42that all but forced Kunis and Kutcher to watch the clip. In a video testimonial,
02:46Caro told TMZ,
02:47I saw Kunis and these memories came rushing in. Ultimately, Caro dropped the lawsuit, telling TMZ,
02:52I have learned to forgive in my heart the people who have wronged me, like Mila.
02:55I pray for her soul and the soul of Doggy, that he is found peace finally in chicken heaven.
02:59To end on something of a positive note, Caro hasn't posted a new video since 2016 when she
03:04supposedly ran for president, and honestly, we'd be able to live perfectly content lives
03:08if she never posted anything again. Yet,
03:10somehow we strongly suspect we haven't seen or heard the last of this supernova.
03:14I have some surprises for everyone, straight, gay, in between, everything.
